It's a hidden personal achievement so it won't show up on the list until you actually earn it.

Very impressed with Bioshock's visual. It still holds up great.

Do I go for it now when they're 33% off, do I wait to see if they go cheaper, or wait to see if there's a Dawn of War bundle that contains the entire series. I understand that since I own Retribution, I've got all I need from a multiplayer standpoint but I wouldn't mind playing through the campaigns. If there's a goal for me for this sale, it's that I walk out of it with the Dawn of War series.
Just force the options you want through whatever options your GPU provides. Through the Nvidia control panel I applied 8x anti-aliasing, triple buffering and vertical sync to Darksiders.

Frankly speaking, SMB has some weird hitbox and graphics problems. Sometimes I go through wall or saws kill me when I DON'T touch them...or when you stand on a platform that goes below a low ceiling it kills you instead. >_>Jzero15 said:This happens to me in A LOT of levels in hell
1-D_FTW said:You can't apply triple buffering through the Nvidia panel. It only applies to OpenGL. If you want triple buffering, it has to be done through D3D.

Vietnam = smaller, but not hard to find a game.
yup same here on one level in hell i was playing earlier the game got stuck for a split second and then i ended up at the end of the level so instead of getting the A+ of 25 seconds i finished it in 6 seconds lolSgt.Pepper said:Frankly speaking, SMB has some weird hitbox and graphics problems. Are you saying the option simply doesn't work?[/QUOTE]
As I've been told, no. That only applies to games that are running OpenGL. If you want to enable triple buffering for DirectX games (which most are), you need to do it through D3DOverider.
Mrbob said:Dawn of War 2 Gold edition has been on sale for 50 percent off before. This was when the game retailed for $39.99 and the sale price was $19.99. Now DoW2 Gold is $29.99 so 33 percent off is the roughly the same discount. It is possible the game will show up on a daily deal for 50 percent off. How much does 5 dollars matter to you? I bought all DoW2 products at full price and got my moneys worth. 20 dollars for the Gold package is still a good deal even if the price does dip a little lower.

You twisted my rubber arm, bought.
Hmph, so I should probably get around to giving D3D a shot then.

You don't need to but you want to. Seriously, play them all.Link Man said:Do I need to play through the first Half-Life to understand the second? Otherwise, I could just buy HL2+Ep1+Ep2 and save $3.50.
It isn't awful, and it has a cool style, but I don't think it compares to vanilla. I'd go with just vanilla and wait for a later sale if you get into it and decide you want Vietnam. On the other hand, if you can spare $10 for the pack, it also comes with that SPECACT kit which I think gives you the first major unlock in each class. And that's handy. I don't know why that isn't standard. A medic should be able to give out med kits from the beginning... but anyway.Saren is Bad said:Vietnam worth it then? You have to get it all under 496 seconds, so better than A+.Campster said:Is the achievement bugged or something? I just went back and A+'d both the light and dark worlds of hell, and I still haven't gotten the achievement. Did they really just make it that hard to get, or is my game bugged? It also doesn't show up for me in the list of achievements on the community page....

It's the first 10 minutes of the game. Use a walkthrough if needed.Izayoi said:How exactly do I get the Jolly Rover achievement?
Oh, I hadn't installed it yet. I have no idea when I actually bought it, but apparently I own it, so... Anyway, just play through the first ten minutes of the game and I'll get it?firehawk12 said:It's the first 10 minutes of the game. Use a walkthrough if needed.

I've spent lots of time with it. It's fun. For $3 it's an easy sell.RoboShmup said:Plants vs Zombies worth the 3 bucks? I've never played tower defense games much. I watched some videos of it and it looks charming enough.
Pretty much. With a walkthrough, you can probably do it much faster. It even has a system that tells you which items are clickable.Izayoi said:Oh, I hadn't installed it yet. Yup, like the Hoard achievement, it's a total troll.Campster said:Good lord. Why would they make it that difficult? The light and dark world versions of the 4th level need to be beaten at times far faster than A+ is not particularly easy for experienced Meat Boy players, let alone people who might randomly buy the game today to get the achievement.
Thanks, I think I'll stick with my original plan, though. I'm getting Darksiders as well, so I want to keep my expenses down.chixdiggit said:You don't need to but you want to. Seriously, play them all.
If you want to, you can follow this walkthrough until "Get the Rum".Izayoi said:How exactly do I get the Jolly Rover achievement?
I can't believe the SMB achievement, what the fuck were they thinking?
