Steam Summer Sales Thread: remember: you can actually play after buying

So far:

Oblivion GOTY DX
Toki Tori
Spacechem
Eternity's 60p! SIXTY FRIGGIN' PENCE!!!

I'm buying ahead of myself, but I'm still nowhere near my limit, thank the gods.

If Super Meat Boy or VVVVV get a deal under £3 they're bought. If over £3, I'll have to think it over...

No, you'll buy both at the asking price. *shakes fist*

I can forgive you for a hesitant VVVVVV purchase, but Super Meat Boy is the best platformer since SNES Mario; there's no excuse for passing it up at any price.

I am back! If Frozen Synapse goes on sale I'll make you all buy it. :P

Made my first purchase of the sale, picked up the Heroes pack at the last minute after wathcing some Dark Messiah gameplay, looked like a cool RPG for $2.50.

My damage so far: $9.96

Shogun: Total War 2 DLC: $2.99
Just Cause 2: $4.99
Just Cause 2 DLC"s $1.98

Remaining in Steam Summer Sale Budget: $40.04

I guess it helps that I have 100+ steam games because the damages have been minimal so far. KOTOR + Bit Trip Runner. But maybe it's because I have no interest in gaming these days (not even interested in Shogun)

Well, almost forgot to make some last minute purchases for today, tried to check out and Steam appeared to lock up for a good 2 minutes. Then it finally completed the transaction. Glad I didn't kill the process like Windows suggested. In three minutes the site will rendered unusable for a while.

Valve's making money hand over fist, they need to buy some more fucking servers pronto. This is inexcusable.

VVVVVV is already down to 2 pounds

Really impressed with braid.

For the price of a can of red bull at my local shop, too.

Seconded. Braid is a beautiful game, and a steal at this price. I just picked it up myself and have been playing it, blown away every second.

Holy fuck so many games I wanted today. Not going to be able to get them all. And Super Meat Boy is too much for me to double dip, bummer :(

Once again Capcom demonstrates a lack of understanding as to how Steam Sales work.

Edit: And I'm surprised Microsoft is jumping on this sale with Fable 3.
