Okay, okay so I said in another thread that I didn't like the demo because of the way Eve moves, it felt too janky, but holy shit the combat makes up for it. Parries are satisfying af. I take it back, I can see why people like this now and have purchased the full game.

Not to defend them, but are they? I've seen two threads on there where most of the users are actually celebrating it's successs.
Yeah, this has become a new tactic for rage bait. Say people are upset.

Xbox fanboys love to say PS fanboys are upset.

That is what Gaz (Septic Sauce) has lowered himself to.

Fuck yeah now that's a man of good taste
I'll definitely go ham on NG+ though. I bought the twin pack nier/nikke DLC too but like I said I turned all that shit off first play through. I usually never do NG+ but I think I will with this one.

And honestly after this I'm going to finally play Nier Automata as I never got around to it.

I am learning so much in this thread. Stellar Blade is phenomenal. Glad the PC Bros finally get to play it! I will double dip once it goes on sale.

Tip for first time players, it's worthwhile to not worry about exploration too much at first. By all means, do everything in Xion but once you leave for the Wastelands follow the main story path so you can unlock a couple of traversal abilities wall run and double jump to reduce backtracking and make exploration easier in general. Before you set off to the 3rd zone you'll be able to go back and properly explore the Wastelands.

There are points of no return but they're much further in the game so no need to worry about missing early stuff.

I don't care about Nikke, but am interested in the Doro stuff. I assume that's a paid DLC?

The 5080 absolutely smokes this game. Since the rendering is not that complex, multi frame generation seems to work decently, at least in the first city environment. 2K / DLSS Quality / 3X you can get 400-500 FPS, so you can max out a 480Hz monitor if you have one. Feels good to play like that.

I'm enjoying the game, it is straightforward in a good way, there is not much bullshit or bloat (for now). It really feels like a small time capsule in the way it is designed... at least for a "mainstream" game.

That took me so long on the PS5, 2nd time on the PC. Must have better hand strength this time round 💪
For me it plays tighter on PC, easier to do parry/dodge/blink etc. Could come from higher framerate or less latency on the screen idk

Took down that boss tonight, very cool fight, moved like a gorilla, the intro and ending was awesome 👌

I'm really enjoying this but these first stages are really uninspiring. I hope the environments change drastically. I'm not too far in though, only at the construction site.

And don't get me wrong, the level design is really good actually. I really like exploring and finding things where I expect them to be and some I don't. Really great level design actually.
