Yeah I know I'm jaded, but I just can't scrounge up any empathy here. He should've cut the stream, regrouped and came back online wielding the banhammer. If this was new to them, it was a professional learning experience long overdue.

I can't wait until Asmongold streams this game and the bots come for him. It's going to be hilarious.

Could be a number of reasons why they didn't cut it, maybe it was sponsored to some degree? Who knows? Just a learning experience for sure. For as many people saying that they're polite, sweet, humble, etc. These kind of people aren't used to the trash people other big streamers deal with. Shame they got targeted.

Even some of the biggest athletes in todays world can not stay off social media and some really let it get to them

Especially a streamer getting constant harassments trying to make a living interacting with chat?

These streamers should put it in sub only mode so they have to at least pay you to harass you might really slow it down at least

Again going back to my time in sports but sitting in the bullpen close to the fans you hear every insult imaginable and like myself I would laugh and think "That was a good one"

Right but imagine if you had the power to specifically curate the audience coming to see you play, and anytime someone opened their mouth to insult you they'd be escorted out before those words left their lips. That's the power of Twitch moderation. It's not even comparable to the stuff you and yours went through.

The whole thing is so messed up. I can literally only think of 2 AAA games where you can play as a trans character, cyberpunk and Harry Potter. And cyber punk it’s borderline comedic, and is 18+. Making Harry Potter the only really mainstream game where kids playing it, regardless of their gender identity or ethnicity can see themselves both in their character or in the hugely diverse cast.

Trans advocates should be singing its praises from the rooftops, yet instead they attack lgbtq actors from the game, want the game to fail, or to not exist at all, want to ban all discussion of it, and attack anyone who dares to enjoy or want to play it.

It. Makes. Zero. Fucking. Sense.
