I watch some of their reviews from time to time and they seem like some of the nicest and wholesome people out there. They don't deserve this crap.

Like they didn't talk to them, watch them, interact with them at all, but if you see a name on a list - instant hate.

Twitter created this style of life where a person chooses what he or she wants to hate. It's similar to those high upvoteds trends on twitter.

Most of those people probably don't watch streamers at all and possibly don't play games. But just like twitter "suggest" things for them to hate, theres probably something or someone along the lines that sends them a link for them just go there to spread their hate.

I think whats more surprising is that even twitter chooses exactly what constitutes a harassment or hate speech. If is for the "correct" side, then they probably tolerates.

They come in two flavors. One that is fully wrapped in an ideology that has all the answers. The other flavor and probably the greater proportion are the ones who are in fear of this treatment so go along with it.

Amen, I use to try to give them the benifit of the doubt, just saw them as misguided but good intentioned and I have love for all people, types and believe deeply to let people be who they want to be.

But they have turned into a mirror image of all they hate. They are actively promoting hatred, they are discriminating against people, they are actively censoring things and forcing others to not talk about thing via out right bans of content and people.

I hope one day the people in charge over there take a deep look into the mirror, you’ve turned into the thing you claimed to fight against. You’re now hateful, spiteful and seeking harm against others.

Actual dysphoric people are not numerous enough to do this kind of damage. You do have a larger number than that of non-dysphoric people who are commiting to transitioning anyway.
