I don't think I'm gonna receive the game today. The door in the hall is closed off, so the postman won't be able to come in lol. Fucking lol!

Might have to go buy the game in a store now, and return the one that is on the way.

How do you change your CFN ID? Or are you stick with it once it's set?

You're stuck with it.

I cant do up down charge moves on a 360 pad to save my life. Im just fucking around in training until my stick arrives in a bit (cant believe 1 day delivery actually worked, good on amazon uk) so it technally doesnt matter, but I just wanted to share :p

youre stuck, and the game even tells you youll be stuck :p

Has anyone here tried any ps3 sticks ? I heard it wad having some lag issues, just want to confirm. I just found my stick in the basement, and although I suck at fighting games, I would get it because I believe I can beat Daigo lol

I only noticed in shadoloo base so far. are there drops in other stages?

I have no idea if its stage specific. Tried shadoloo base and underground area as I read online that some had framerate issues on those two stages and I didn't notice anything at first. Messed around in practice mode on Chaos In The City and Apprentice Alley and it was pretty choppy. Tried survival online and the entire thing ran in slow-motion. Tried underground arena again and noticed it started to drop. Tried shadoloo base again offline and it ran horribly. I've tried a bunch of different things and it seems random. I'm hoping this gets fixed as quick as possible.

Man, and I thought the PS4 port of Street Fighter IV had a rough launch.

I'll be back when I can actually play the STORY MODE without staring at a black screen for two minutes in between each match.

Go offline if you want to play SP content without loading forever.

PC version seems to run okay.

Takes awhile to connect to opponents and I disconnect from the online service every once in awhile.

PC is much better than I expected. I get disconnections all over the place and I turned post processing to medium to get rid of the motion blur.

Other than that it's great. When I changed my graphics settings I got some slowdown with V-Trigger moves, but a restart sorted it.

Fight money seems balanced too. Each Story mode level gives you 2000. Are DLC fighters 100k?

Had a couple of hours with the game. The mechanics are amazing. It feels fantastic to play. It looks great. It is however clearly unfinished. Not even a challenge mode yet? The online is not really working. Managed to have one complete fight but that can be forgiven for launch day problems for me. They need to get this updated fast. I think I fall into the camp that would rather have waited another month or two, so they could add in extra modes etc. It will be amazing in time. Right now it's almost there but key ingredients are missing. I'll probably feel a lot better when the online is working properly

I get some weird error every time I close out the game. It's like 'memory could not be written' or something like that. Dunno what it means or how to fix it.

And my Fight Money disappeared.

Are all of the problems people are facing confined to:

a) online play only?

b) the PC or PS4 version only?

I can't actually tell.

Dunno about PC, but PS4 version is having major server side issues that's impacting both online play and story mode (minutes of black loading screens between rounds) and random server disconnects.

PS4 and PC are the same servers, thats the whole point.

One little tip from fucking around with making lobbies (and not being able to use them haha), make sure to go to battle settings, and change your favorite background to random, otherwise your lobby will always be on the background its set to

This is just an elaborate plan to get us all to buy the season pass isn't it?

yes

no

If you put character select on, you'll be able to chose stages.

ah ok, like I said I havent been able to actually go into a match. Its hilarious that character select is off by default :P

Fight money is probably the biggest reason for always having to be online.
I just realized how bad the situation is. It is definitely comparable to an always online game situation because we have to depend on servers on top of our regular internet. With the fight money requirement the community is now dependent on Capcom servers. If they go down for a few days at a time there will be no fight monies for us. Everything would to hell if worse comes to worse and people lose hundreds of thousands of fight monies.

Now I know how Balrog feels.

The fucked up servers isn't so bad on launch day, that shit does happen. I'll never forget the PS4 launch of BF4. *shudder*

The lack of some very, very basic features- like SNES-era features - is far more concerning, as is the reliance of an internet connection, that stays connected, to earn FM. That, and tieing alt colors to a grueling slog of a grind in a really boring mode (Unlock now with season pass! Just $30!) and dishing out paltry FM for ranked wins. The latter is especially terrible considering how few players will be able to quickly garner those wins, especially if they are newbies, and the fact that rage quits incur zero penalty and rob you of your Win and FM.

Please also remember that if you pre-ordered on PSN you were stuck even after the more recent details emerged. No cancellations or refunds.

And I don't think expecting VS CPU or standard Arcade mode is expecting too much for $60. Those aren't even on the road map. Bigger lobbies and an extensive tutorial mode at launch really would have gone a long way too.

I fully agree. The fact that the roadmap isn't showing basic stuff to be added like an Arcade mode or more robust Versus mode is worrying. Either they have no plans to add these, or they forgot about them for some reason by focusing so much on pleasing the online FGC warriors or the people who just want a big flashy cinematic story mode (and don't mind waiting for that till June).

I was watching some Road to SFV and SF Legacy videos on Youtube and seeing people battle the CPU in older games like SFII not only made me nostalgic but also anxious that we might never get this mode ever again in a SF game despite plenty of oldschool people (especially those like me grew up in countries where arcades were rare) still liking fighting games for giving them the option to fight the CPU at least once in while.

See? Aren't you glad that Capcom isn't giving penalties to people who disconnect?

Still looking to trade my Ryu code for a Cammy code. UK/EU PSN ;-;
probably gonna give it up soon and just rock hot Ryu and use default Cammy ;-;
