I mean I'd rather not honestly. I was just gonna use it if I couldn't trade it. Because I'd rather have Cammy costume than money so eh.
Edit: I need to turn off the power saving options if the PS4 has be inactive. Because if I'm just using my PS3 stick and not touching the PS4 controller it turns off after a certain amount of time.

What's so great about the points? Does it translate to anything?
I guess I should've paid more attention to the recent threads about this game post beta --but I was avoiding spoilers and such. During the last beta, I had no difficulty getting ranked and casual matches (like I'd get into one within 1-3 minutes while training)... so I was expecting that the actual retail release of the game would be decent enough --Man, was I wrong about that.
It takes ages to get into matches, and any transitions after a fight (whether progressing through story mode, or resuming training after a match) seems to have pre-patch-Bloodborne levels of waiting.
Playing offline slightly reduces the load times, but I can't earn FM or EXP when playing single player modes offline. Getting booted out of survival mode is no fun either.
I hope they fix these soon

OH THANK GOD!
The weird thing I noticed was when I was first placing the order on the website two days ago, i noticed the Cammy code wasn't in my cart so I removed SFV from my cart and added it again and then the Cammy code was then added automatically to my cart as a separate item. I have a feeling I wouldn't have gotten the code if I had not noticed that glitch...I got an order pickup confirmation from them 5 hours ago, but no email with the Cammy code

Nope. Not a goddamn thing. I just enjoy chasing scores in fighting games because I'm usually pretty good at figuring the computers weakness and how to expose them to get really high scores.

Im getting sick of this bullsh*t online thing, I was on the 100 fight survival mode and got up to fight 74 (first time getting that far since I got the game last week Thursday) and bam NETWORK error and it automatically threw me to the main menu >:-|
They need to let us earn in-game stuff such as costume colours and fight money offline too, why would they not? It seems they've made this game cheekily online only...but not quite fully online only.

Chun Li costume is PSN pre-order only that automatically comes pre-installed with the game right? So no codes that are exchangeable if someone wants to trade their Chun Li costume.

You can earn colors offline. Fight money is server side because of the PC version.
Everyone I've seen mention it has said it was an email.
Right. I would have traded mine in a heartbeat. I like Chun Li a lot but I don't care for that costume at all.

Well we're kind of stuck guessing. Unless those numbers came out and we missed them, then it's up in the air.
The game development, betas, massive marketing, Capcom Pro Tour, free 1 month of Twitch in game, etc had to have been a pretty penny to pay for.
It's fine if SF5 did have a shit budget just like you said---this is a cluster fuck.
Generally the best thing in situations like these though is open communication. I was hoping their twitter would be being blow up with ETA's on fixes, etc.

My CE just arrived at my house and I'm not at home. Luckily my aunt was there to get it for me. There's no way I'm asking her to open the box to see if the code is there. Lol so how long should it take for the email to arrive???? Best Buy still has the Cammy Code under "Processing"... like seriously?
Well... I'm using the opportunity to get all of the FM from Story/Survival. Banking 600,000FM will come in handy when the store opens and when Ranked works, I don't think I'm going to want to grind this out.
Yeah I feel you man. If it's worth anything I'm in the UK not the US, still sucks that trading it didn't cross my mind.

I'm enjoying the game so far, since I like training mode a lot, and I have a friend to play with on the couch.
Two problems though (aside from what has already been mentioned)
My start button stopped working in training mode. I know it's not my stick because it works at the PS4 home menu. But if I press start in training mode, nothing happens. I have a PS4 hori stick for those wondering.
When Fang does his V-Trigger, the game lags badly. I guess the PS4 can't handle all the poison cloud effects coming from his hands.

It's a combo extender and can be used to escape pressure.

It was one of those Engine.ini "tweaks" I found. It gave me weird sporadic slowdowns and stutter effects and it got worse the longer I played. I had a hard time finding the problem actually, since I did this early on and the framerate still said 60.

Use it to mix-up your opponent. Use it to extend combos. Use it to escape pressure.
Seems pretty useful to me.

Yesss, Giantbomb is going to stream some SFV soon.
It's a teleport, yeah, but you can use it as a combo extender for some pretty good burst damage.
You can also use it to get out of the corner in some situations, or following a fireball for a left-right mixup. This mixup isn't particularly hard to block or avoid but you can probably hit a sleeping opponent with it sometimes.
An easy way to get multiple hits with Ryu (if you're worried about the hit counter) is to just use multi-hitting moves, like EX tatsu. In the corner, you can do EX tatsu and then do an EX shoryuken before they hit the ground.
Put the opponent in the corner, then do jumping heavy kick, crouching heavy punch, and cancel it into EX tatsu. Then do an EX shoryuken. This should get you 8-ish hits and you don't even have to do any links.
Fuck yes. Just keep all sticks away from Dan.

And if you are really good or just lucky, you can get two in a round.
Couple that with the meter stealing tech and Nash is pretty ridic.
