I faced that very same Ryu today and he rage quit on me too. The only way he knows how to get in is with jumping hard kick.

I think it's a PS4 guest account issue with SF5 player 2 has to inform player 1 they want to go to the character select screen. It also happened on NLBC.

I have XCOM, Fire Emblem, and Crypt of the Necrodancer to play in February already, so I'm trying to hold out buying SFV until the March update, but damn if reading this thread isn't making it hard to resist picking it up ASAP.

though I don't know how to mash out kicks in this.
Also, what's really dumb is that when they take the servers down for this years down the line, if you don't have the Fight Money, you won't be able to buy those Story Costumes anymore if you haven't already :|

I played maybe a solid 15 or so games in the last couple hours and I had lag issues with 0 of them. No dropped games other than the shit Ryu who ragequit.
Set for 4-5 bars, all hardware.

As much as I am absolutely loving this game, I too wish I had waited and picked it up in March.
The experience will hopefully be considerably improved by then.

Ah yes, kind of forgot to mention actual netcode. Judging by everyone in the thread, the matchmaking part of the netcode seems to be fucked. Everything else about the netcode seems to be mostly fine though. I can see why they haven't put in a penalty for leaving a game. Servers are usually unstable the first couple of days on a game's release. So it would be kind of fucked to mess with your stats like that

Neither am I wifi nor am I using wifi.
Just played a round without any Connection status set and it was fine. So I guess that filter isn't working properly.

That's what I did. If you go to their support forums there is already a topic about this. They give you instructions on who to PM and once I did I got a code like 5min later.
How disgusting. Rage quitters should not only lose double the League Points they'd normally lose, but also lose at least 50 Fight Money, including whatever steak they're on.

Yeah matchmaking is definitely fucked ATM :/ Madridista just helped me out by doing a battle lounge fight with me and that was absolutely fine, but all day I've had endless searching for matches. Ah well.

It came out blocked because you are cancelling too late. You have to delay the cancel into SBK just a tad bit, if you go over just a little bit it wont connect.
What i do is i sort of "plink" direction down after doing the stMP, so you can have enough time to charge.

Gameplay is fucking amazing as is visual presentation but if you want to play online I would say wait a few days
They really need to change it. Most times you are playing with people you know in a lobby. It works fine in Tekken, why not here.
Have they said proper chat is coming? It's sad that I'd be as pumped as I'd be for something as simple as that.
