Switched to Ryu from Cammy. He's a bit easier to use and does more damage it seems like.

Ugh, this is getting infuriating. I was trying to show the game to someone earlier today, and all of my controllers suddenly stopped working. I reset my computer and now the game won't even start. Like, my profile picture on Steam turns green for a second then back to blue as if nothing happened. I've tried validating files, restarting, even reinstalling. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm sure whoever bought that edition is saving money unless they bought it entirely for the premium costumes.

I can believe that SOME of them were just bad connections but I got some SF4 flashbacks where I'm doing my Critical Art and then I'm told the player disconnected.
To be clear, this wasn't the results were failed to be sent to the server. I win and then the screen goes black with the disconnect message popping up.

I'm getting pretty close to 300,000 FM. Which characters have the easiest time cheesing the Survival mode AI? I beat Easy with everyone, and also got Ryu and Ken completed on Medium difficulty by spamming Medium Shoryuken. I assume Cammy and Necalli would also have an easier time with their uppercuts?
I'd say Rashid with QCB+K

Isn't that the e-capcom edition? That actually has an exclusive 11th colour for every character. I doubt the costumes stay exclusive.
As a scrub who has failed getting Normal Survival complete with Mika, Ryu and Chun Li (all failed at Stage 30) it only took me 2 tries to beat it with Cammy.
WOOOOO! Best day so far for me, calling it quits for now. Got my 3 wins in a row and finally broken past 150LP, sitting on 340 for now. Slowly getting better, plus I hurt myself a little celebrating that last match.. (Final blow was a trade and wasn't sure who won for a second..).

Huh, hope they make it so ranked is only against other ps4 players. PC just too overrun with hacks for almost all games

You can also hit him out of it with normals or use any move that puts you in an aerial state to get out of it.

Ah shieeeeeet, well I'm sure the replay data will show the exploits if people abuse that in ranked. So people can report that to Capcom hopefully.

I thought some of these mechanics were authenticated by the server, and both players relied on the server update for the current state of the game. Interesting that injecting code from a trainer could update the server with false information. (Assuming this is closely related to how it behaves)

You can actually choose to only play players using the same system as you.

OK, I went online for the first time with a casual match and this may be a stupid question, but...how do I pick my character? It just had ryu automatically selected and I never play him...

There is a setting to receive invites from your favorites only I believe
Thanks, I will try them both out! I have lost enough times to Bison that I will gladly abuse dumb AI to get it over with.

There's a section called Battle Settings where you pick your favorite character, favorite stage, etc. Choosing that will decide who you play as online.
