KArin's legs in general are fucked and they flash regularly during gameplay
But I think what's happening there is just the orange from the EX move covering over her underwear, which Reizo posted.
Sometimes it looks like Chun Li and Karins nipples are highlighted too in some EX moves.
Dirty japanese developers got no shame.

So, I've made a video, with the purpose of raising awareness on how to make Nash players stop thinking they're clever and safe by throwing out a MK Scythe at the beginning of a round.

I've got the idea from vryu, and just applied it to the rest of the cast.
It works really well, I can swear 75% of the Nashes I encounter online try that on the first or second round: make them regret and behave! ^^

Lots of RQs last night against my trash Alex.
I think the ranking system is the problem. I've been beaten by higher end gold ranks and platinums who won't even go for a 2nd match. I guess they think I'm not worth their time, or that I might win and take 100+ points.
Unless you're better at offense, just turtle up until they get frustrated and try to throw.
On block, Sonic Scythe is negative, the fastest recovery being -7. fMP is -6. fHP is -13 Close range sonic booms are also punishable.
Nash also has nothing on wakeup. EX Scythe has a big fat hitbox, but its' startup is not instant.
Moonsault is unsafe if you're on point with your anti airs. He can be hit the entire time before the slash comes out. It's positive if you guard it, though, so nip it in the bud.
Unpunishable would be V-Trigger Necalli :V

Yep, thats what I've been doing. Currently at level 28 with Karin. The only other option is hard and extreme survival and the last time I tried that I died at stage 50 in hard. Never again.

Neat. A lot of Nash's also open with his spinning back knuckle (f.FP) and since it has like 15 frames of startup, these will probably work too.
Yep, you're totally right, caught one like that too one day but didn't think about adding that precision in the video.

How does the Offense and Defense get calculated on your fight card or w/e? I'm back to "Balanced" after being one tick over Offense previously.

I always go for a CC immediately when playing against Nash. It works 90% of the time.
Vega players: how do I punish Alex's slash/elbow? In either claw on or off mode?
I fought a ton of Alex players last night while trying to learn Vega, and it feels like it's hard to punish those, or perhaps its range based.
Edit: Just looked up frame data:
All Flash Chops (except EX) are -4, which means a 4 frame normal from Vega should(?) punish? I know Vega has a 3F is st.LK but I think it doesn't go far enough depending on the range Alex hits with the Flash Chop.
Light Slash Elbow is -3, so the only thing that could potentially punish is st.LK depending on range.
I'm just starting basically with Vega (around 20-25 games played maybe), but Alex so far has given me a ton of trouble. His st.LP is such a good anti-air.

Yep, it should work as long as it isn't a slow CC like Alex's boot.
Yeah, it's crazy how so many of them think it's a clever way of starting a round because nobody is punishing them for it.
And the best thing about this is that you get to do what you want on the opening of the next round, because usually they are terrified by what happened... ^^
Depends on your characters: for most of them with a long-reaching CC move, yep!
For others like Karin or Mika, it is best to take a slight step forward before doing so, it avoids a whiff and puts you in a better position for the follow-up of the combo.

I honestly don't know.
I assume that if you block a lot of stuff the defense raises....I've seen it move to the defense side after losing some matches, so I don't think it means a lot.

Out of curiosity, what do you play fighting games for? And, I feel you on the content thing, but they laid out a roadmap before release, and if I was focused on SP shit, I wouldn't even dream of touching the game until like, June.
What arcade stick is it and what version of the game do you have?

To be fair, there was no way of knowing how sparse the single player content was back when the betas were happening. So if he pre-ordered it through PSN in 2015, the only way to get the refund was to call and demand it. EDIT - though that doesn't seem to be the case in this instance
Let this be known for all future developers, if you want 2+ million sales on a fighting game, you have to appeal to the button mashers.
I guess this is the correct reaction to someone who impulsively buys both a full priced game and a premium 200$+ controller for something they've done 0 research on lol

My favorite thing in video gaming is competitive fighters, so this game has most of what I want.
I would, however, like there to be more stuff to do when the servers are down. I don't want to miss out on fight money, so I usually can't do anything but fiddle in training mode. I guess you could also do Survival for characters you've already beaten it with to get their alternate costume colours, since there's no XP/FM associated the second time around. But that's pretty much it.

No, this is the reaction of someone who still, after over a month of waiting, can't get a fucking lounge game working with a friend. It's a reaction of someone who doesn't like to be matched in ranked with people 1000-1500 LP ahead all the time. But sure, defend this POS product. There's no excuse for putting out a game like this.
I'd like to add the laughable designs of the women too. Laura is some pervy japanese wet dream with the basketball tits. And Cammy... Lol. This game has both same the content and outdated view of women as a game from the early nineties. So enjoy your broken game with women in tank tops bought at Baby Gap.

You lost me at the second part. I honestly don't blame you for being mad at broken online, non-existent single-player, and the other little decisions that just suck (ex. survival grinding). But bashing the game for the way the characters look makes no sense. You could have surveyed the roster before release and avoided the game based on that fact alone. And this is coming from someone who thinks FANG is the dumbest looking (and sounding) character ever.

The last part was just the cherry on the top. It's not my mind concern, but it's still bizarre that a retail game can have characters like that.
And I'm not bashing "how the game plays". Gameplay is just fine, but when you can't even get the matchmaking or playing with a friend online right. Yikes

Yeah, I hate their designs so much that I'll never use them. It doesn't help that I don't like their move set or game plans either, but their design is my primary beef.
