I have a friend who doesn't play fighting games, and knows nothing about him. He also doesn't care about watching video game events, and even sometimes pokes fun about it.
Regardless, one day I was over his house and there was a MvC3 tourny going that I wanted to watch. The commentators were hype, enough so that he actually go into it, and started watching the tourny with me. He actually was interested, asked about the commentators and the game etc. I know for a fact if he saw this he'd ask me to please turn it off.
