She's that good?
I've read she hits hard and looks to have a nice back dash but her normals don't look top tier or anything and her walk speed isn't great either. I'll main her regardless though, I just love everything about her in this game and hopefully she plays nicely with Jin until Elena comes along.

If anything, Julia's higher health just seems to suggest that she's expected to take more punishment in her gameplan.
Unlike many Tekken characters, who seem to slip through projectiles/attacks naturally with their special advances, she also has a single-hit armored EX command dash move. And then her other special step (Windroll) seems to be geared towards risky, but rewarding mixups.
I know people are saying she's suppose to hit very hard, too, but does she have anything shown as powerful as the results of this Lilly Trial at 1:34?

Yeah ditto. He has combo potential to for guys like me who could only really do jump in HK, crouch MP, flash kick/boom as their BnB combo in SF4 with Guile.
That Lili combo ain't even that great for 2 bars. I'm sure she and Julia have much better damage options

That's pretty much his basic bnb in every game! Except st where you can link into super like a bad ass.
Hmmm, I think I worded that confusingly, sorry; I mean the combo that starts at 1:22, and ends at 1:34 (which uses an EX and Super), not the combo starting after 1:34 (which uses 2 bars, like you noted.)
Looks like Lili's pulling off Hugo-grade damage (with his normal-clap-normal-clap super combo), which is pretty impressive for someone like her!
Oh yeah, that 3 bar combo looks pretty impressive. Lili looks solid since she can easily wall bounce to herself that extends into a lot of damage. She's gonna need a couple meter gems and maybe a defense one to really shine, I would think.
EDIT: plus I wonder if that wall bounce would give enough time to just charge an EX move into super and make that same damage only cost 2 bars. That would be godlike

I look forward to trying this out myself. That'd be pretty nice if she could, though I think it's been mentioned that Charged-up supers can have different properties than their normal non-charge variants. (such as lower damage, or different hit properties). So it could turn out weaker, or the charge time might make it hit at a time where they fall out the move... but it's definitely worth trying!
Speaking of Gems, it'll be interesting to put some def / hp restore gems on Julia too. Enough HP restore gems to give her greater HP than Hugo would be kinda fun.

The best thing is that they only did it for the females. Hugo and Gief were only done for justifications, I'm sure.

I guess. Easier links, no fadc, and chains make it seem that way.
No double fireball motions, safer jump-ins, even Gootecks managed to apparently learn the game.

The guys who are hacking the disc are saying that the DLC characters have all the same files, with the same sizes, as those that are initially playable.

I really, really, really wish this wasn't coming out the same day as Mass Effect 3
So buy one now, buy the other later. They're not going to just magically disappear in the next week.
Or rather. Buy this one now, the other is mainly single player.

On disc is great for planned dlc. That means people who don't own them can play against the characters and see DLC costumes they don't own. My friends were all too lazy to download that free update on the 360 so they could never see DLC costumes.

Wellllll, ME3 does have multiplayer and it is really fun. I'm getting both. How I play them who knows.
Yeah, same boat. I plan to give ME3 a mission or two before I dive into SFxT...that is the plan...who knows how it will actually go down.
That's what I'm doing, but unfortunately Mass Effect has to take priority over this. Almost any other game this would take priority, but I'm obligated to finish Mass Effect out. It just sucks because everything I've seen of this game in the last couple of weeks has really turned my opinion of it around, but there's just literally no time for me to play both. Would rather just get through ME then pick this up (the ME multiplayer isn't a big draw for any of my friends so that's a non-issue). I just wish this had come out like two weeks ago or something like that. Too many good games, first world problems, etc.
