i have never been instantly sold on an actor/actress in a role more from set pics than Margot Robbie, those expressions are straight up classic Harley Quinn, she is gonna slay, hoping she can do the voice well

She has absolute mastery of her face which sounds trite to say but a lot of actors get by on their looks without having mastery of their instrument and she's got total command of it.

Taking things a bit literal aren't we? I'm talking more about how Street Kings and End of Watch were both pretty entertaining while Harsh Times was meh and Sabotage was god awful with a bunch of characters so shitty and unlikeable that you didn't care when they were brutally offed.

Look at Robbie. Killing it in yet another photo. I mean, she's just standing there, but she's standing there exactly how Harley would stand there. I'll admit that I barely know what that means, but she does and that's all that matters. It's amazing how much she gets this character.

Now lets count all of the comments about how the actors/directors "don't get" any of the squad's members because their costumes are a bit different from the comics. Unconditional optimism and pessimism are both equally stupid, but in DC film threads you will find a lot more of the latter.

As far as I can tell, he's a young actor in an unknown role but rumored for major characters. Put in that position and any actor will get attention. Scoot McNairy went through it when Batman v Superman shot.

Yeah, but Scoot McNairy had previous roles with recognized quality performances when that happened. I understood people being excited that he showed up because he had some semblance of a track record (I didn't like him in Monsters, but a lot of people did. I did like him in Killing Them Softly, though)

yeah, definitely looks like it. Don't know if he can kill them, that might be up to Waller. But still.
Because the domination perception at the time of Eisenberg's casting was that he wasn't intimidating enough to pull it off. What, with his curly hair and nerdy appearance.
If nothing else, he definitely looks the part in that, and anyone still bitching has nothing to base that on.
