It didn't air last week due to the Olympics. Koichoco is having a double episode this week to compensate.
Edit: Rather, I guess I should just say that episodes 5 and 6 are airing this week instead.
Kids on the Slope and Sword of the Stranger are far better works than anything modern day Xebec could ever hope to produce.

calling it intentionally incongruous could also refer to the attempted style of horror ie. Jacobs Ladder. And this could easily be misconstrued that way, especially when the seemingly random monster designs feature prominently.

The bright colour pallete certainly takes away from the tone, but they kept a surprising amount of the violence there

...what the hell did I just watch? So weird but I'm digging it. Some hilarious characters and character interactions. Yuki and Haru have a great odd couple scenario going and the "Prince" joining in is going to make this really fun. Turban-Goose dude looks like another funny edition.
One of the weirdest cast introductions ever but well done. Intrigued to see where this goes. Hopefully the series is about everyone coming out of their shell?

The reinforcements part was totally a bluff ... you'll see that kirito does that quite often when needed.
Not that it'll make any difference as he is as strong as a reinforcements by itself. The assasin leader knew all that of course but kirito has crushed several Pk guild by now and is well renowed in the front lines ..so why takes any chances ?
Ps: nobody is crazy enough to attack those 2 together , especially in a public place even with a possible hack ..so yeah let's eat when hunger comes

For some reason the past few weeks I can't be bother to watch it but decided to force myself to watch so I can get over with it.
One and half hour of cute girls doing cute things in London? I'm ok with this. But sadly the focus too much on Yui/Azusa and not enough on the rest of the girls,it's criminal. Kyo-Ani truly does show their best in background scenery porn and at least they hire some actors who can put on a british accent although it still sound unnatural. Overall, I'm please with the conclusion and hopefully no more of the K-on franchise.
