Yes, Azuma is completely against an anime. It's not happening unless the ownership laws change for manga (which it might since I think there's a bill happening or something).

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon II 4
Bird cannibalism in my anime. Hilarious. This was actually one of those Horizon episodes where I just struggle to pay attention to the dialogue and zone out. Like one of the episodes last season, not much of nothing happened until like the last few moments, meaning next episode will be intense and hopefully stunning. Ending sequence was nice.
Kind of a bit way too heavy on the fanservicy bath scene for all the ladies, and the up close and personal encounter with Tenzou and the the lady.

After the 20s I'm surprised that people even care at that point. The audience should know how most of the crew are pretty horrible people and all of them have communication problems. However around this point, Renton is starting to come into his own so I don't really see what the problem is.
I do feel kinda bad for him because while he was a pretty bad character, the rest of the people in this show are really fucking awful people too. Really fucking awful. I wish half his schoolmates had burned in a fire yet they walk away while he suffers for it. Probably some lame Jesus symbolism about one individual carrying the sins for the rest of society. Too bad they were some damn heavy handed about it.
This is definitely looking to be a trainwreck waiting to happen which makes this amazing. I'm really surprised how well it has turned out. It's much more random than what I've seen in similar situations which I can see getting very old very quick. Also the limits it's starting to push everybody should be interesting to see. I wonder what Taichi's big flaw is as I wouldn't categorize being a white knight as a flaw.
Definitely the sleeper hit of the season so far for me.
I actually had some issues with the music at times, something you can see with the insert piece when Gai is introduced. It's a bit too heavy-handed at times and this kinda pops up throughout the series. There also seems to be a distinct lack of variety which I found disappointing. We never really hear more than a couple of songs from Inori which really sucks.

Oh, I knew what I was expecting, but they got a thousand times worse. The second I heard their motivation for keeping Eureka around, I said "fuck this" out loud and upended a table.
Makes you wonder why the world is worth saving, huh?

Ok you're going to have to explain that to me as they weren't keeping her around purely to use her.
It's pretty much implied that Holland wanted to bang her or some other nonsense hence him being jealous of Renton. It fits with the motif of him being a spoiled kid who never grew up. He also tones down in the late twenties and actually starts acting like an adult after Morning Glory due to the leg damage.

Holland is too much of a jerk in first half that some people just couldn't get over it. It doesn't help that the voice work was soooo good. Come on, Crispin Freeman did an awesome job in the dub.
Samurai 7 is a good anime.

They're putting the entire world at risk for a damaged girl. Yeah, I get the romantic "I'd pick you over the world" thing, but it just comes off as incredibly dumb in its execution.
But I've already written up a big-ass post for this stuff, so I don't really care to get into it again.

It's probably safe to say toonami viewers would react much differently to it than we would. I mean look at all the people in here declaring Deadman Wonderland the "WORST THING EVER", yet the toonami thread loves it and it's been very well received elsewhere. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone here that animegaf is a massive, insular minority.

The thing is, aren't they a villain by virtue of that position? You can't say "fuck the world" and still be a clear-cut "good guy." That's what makes those stories interesting to me.
I haven't seen it, but it seems like something that would be fun to see the reactions to in the Toonami thread.

Every chapter more of Pandora Hearts I read the more Im like, "when is this going to take off", and each chapter just doesnt deliver.
Lol wut? No it doesn't. In fact it gets quite clear cut while leaving the mystery still there making the wait for each month agonizing but this doesn't hit until the Coming of Age arc.
.... Whatever. The flashback arc is probably one of the best arcs I've read in manga history. Meh.

Yes, and I'm fine with villain protagonists like that if they are portrayed as such. I can't speak for how E7 ends up because I dropped it, but I imagine those fucks got a happy ending.
