So much for duckroll claiming KS couldn't potentially fund a continuation at the same production qualities as the Anime Mirai short!
I'm still not entirely sure what they are going to spend the extra money on. Like they aren't making the episode longer than 40 mins and they are already 100k past their stretch goal (and without a budget breakdown of some sort it's hard to imagine that it cost them 350k to work on those stretch goals). What are they going to spend the extra money on, Blow and Hookers? Don't get me wrong I'm happy because the people over there have been responsible for some of my favorite anime. I know they are talented + hard working. I'd just appreciate a bit more transparency.
Well they apparently already had the funds for LWA 2, this kickstarter was just to add 15 minutes. So there's no excuse for it not melting everyone's eyes.

3DPD means 3D Pig Disugsting or rather people who prefer 2d characters or actual flesh and blood people.
Oranges are Tomatoes was Corvo's reaction to the end of Code GEass, a series which was so much of a trainwreck that it's plot transcends ridiculousness and becomes a lesser art.
Der and Quality are scenes of animation where the facial or body proportions of a character are either wrong or not finished.
Mono no aware = bittersweet and fleeting. In anime terms, it's like watching cherry blossoms fall, as they remind you that beauty is only temporary etc. Usually used for shows about high school students having wonderful times before graduation etc. These are firehawk's favourite kinds of shows.
3DPD isn't the right term for :kurita (3DPD stands for "3D pig disgusting", which many otaku think because they're obsessed with "2D women"). :kurita means the opposite - Kurita loves Jdramas and frequently posts that the anime versions of things are terrible
:kayos means "I don't get it". Kayos has a history of saying he doesn't understand things in the thread, so :kayos is used when people don't get things.
:corvo means HAVING MASSIVELY OVER THE TOP REACTIONS TO THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING IN AN ANIME EPISODE AND THEN POSTING ABOUT THEM IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Because that's what Corvosol does.
:wonzo has two meanings as I see it - it's either used to describe moments in anime with terrible CGI (mostly immortalised through wonzo watching Kingdom) or shots where "bad art" is obvious - i.e. where artists haven't bothered to draw in all the detail of characters in the background, or just plain bad drawing/animation. So named because wonzo is AMAZING at pointing them out.

This is going to sound harsher than I mean it but Trigger didn't fully utilize the Kickstarter machine. There wasn't enough stretch goals that were not only reasonable in regards to getting there funding-wise but also tempting. Even something like a dub would have had a boost. They also didn't plan stuff out well once they realized how much money they were getting to keep the momentum going. Then there is the transparency issues. They somewhat addressed it but they didn't really give a clear breakdown of where the money is going.
The Kickstarter was a success but it was also a missed opportunity.

Corvo means that I sometimes shout loudly and possibly incoherently during my reviews. I had the glorious fortune of watching several shout worthy shows in a row and it became a thing.
Kayos doesn't google some things and so he sometimes is left asking questions about what might seem obvious. Other people do this, but Kayos has earned the crown for it. It's especially entertaining to do :kayos when Kayos doesn't get why someone just did :Kayos to him. I imagine it is very frustrating to be Kayos in those situations.
Kurita watches J-Dramas and has an avatar of a pouty woman.
Wonzo appreciates things of the highest quality only.
Also "Tomatoes are Oranges" refers to the fact that in The Big O's second season, tomatoes are used as a symbol that really doesn't make sense. Oranges are a running gag in Code Geass. Because R2 is a train wreck, mind screw, and spectacle, and one of the last scenes in the show is of an orange farm, I just kinda made the connection.
Beyond that I can't say, because my mental state during the last few episodes of R2 was kind of, well, you've probably got the idea by now.

Mine isn't really focused on booty puns persay, it's more like screencapping and going hey look at this even though someone has already done the work for it (because the Senshis have no booty).
