Must be a C-tier project for Bandai Visual if they actually bothered to upload it to Youtube in HD without region locking it. :p
Well, looks like the YouTube video just got set to private, so... (I know this probably doesn't have anything to do with regions, but still.)

Fucking Doremi. She had one Job. ONE JOB.
Her test was the easiest too.
Poor Pop's practically become the butt of the joke by now.

i don't agree. last time i had sex was a pretty straight forward, experience, no incest or weird fetish involved...

that's may be the true - but my contention is that its never truly "straight forward" - i.e. there is some sort of crux regardless. Man has to figure out if its worth it or a determent, and that's a individual choice. The crux could be the relationship, or money or such other things. If its a "socially responsible relationship" - the reward most times is sex, so we fight for that reward - then it becomes a fetish. Hollywood (and a majority of media) does it as fait acompli

The irony is that the crux never really exists in adult same sex relationships - its pure sexual want for some, others its non sexual (or no longer sexual). In Heterosexual relationships - even more so in the modern day, the fetish has become the "norm". You see all these advertisements for Cialis, Androgel 1.62%. This is to keep the idea that it needs to continue because "woman continues to want it" when nothing can be further from the truth.

I'm actually putting a lot of thought into this and it's quite obvious what his motivations were ..but history is written by the winner and humans not using cantus not only lost centuries ago , but now. I understand where you are coming from but saki & mamoru are not clueless how messed up their society is ( they are aware of it but cannot go against the flow ( and they tried several times in the past )) ..in the last arc they are just moved by the instinct of survival, it doesn't prevent saki from expressing her doubts aloud.

They weren't necessarily blind to how messed up their society was, just certain aspects of it. Saki knew how bad things were in the way she was effected by them. Such as how she and her friends were manipulated, and the kids who disappeared. But they never put any thought into how the monster rats were really effected by their society. They even object to some of their claims in the final arc by saying 'we didn't treat you guys that badly'. It's only in the final episode that their eyes really open to just how screwed up things are for the workers.

They weren't ignorant, but their perspective was one that was based on their life experience and limited due to them only seeing things from that perspective.

This PV looks way better than when they first announced it. It's nice to see "classic" designs used to the action scenes. Good animation too. The character designs still look garbage to me, and it seems like the story will be more "serious" than Gunpla Builders, making it dumber and less fun, but at least it looks waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Gundam AGE. Lol.

Will watch a few episodes and see if I want to drop it.

I'm in the same boat as duckrollerflex. Character designs are just stupid looking, but the action looks like it has the potential to be a blast.

It definitely scratched that nostalgia itch. I'll give it a shot, which is more than I can say as of a few months back.

I'm still kinda disappointed about how they handled Pop. Making her into a witch apprentice seemingly just to make her sleeping for tests into a running joke. Ojamajo Pop should have really been nothing but awesome.

Gundam Build Fighters 2 looks yaoitastic.
Preliminary DTL GOTY or does Free! have that nailed down too hard now?

I mean Pop is still awesome. Just wish they did more with her. Or perhaps she'd be too powerful an Ojamajo.

News flash, Berry: You aren't perfect. Nobody is. Stop being so dramatic about it. And stop letting Passion get killed while you cry!

One of those imoutos (unironically the best one there) is designed by my lord and savior Shimada Humikane, I'll have to obtain this some day.

Saika does look like the best girl, but she loses a significant number of points for being the only one whose outfit isn't remotely pyjama-like. It's like, bitch, you're defeating the whole purpose. Get some proper pyjamas on, stat.

On that front, Mifuyu and Haruna have her beaten so badly it's not even funny. Mifuyu also has Akasaki Chinatsu's amazing voice going for her, and Haruna's lolitasticness is over 9000%.

Basically I think the only thing we can say for certain about this lineup is that Akiho is worst girl and needs to GTFO.

This whole thing with Oreimo exposes the dark truth of Heterosexual relationships - that they need a secondary crux for even a dude to even touch a woman in the modern age.

The whole gig was a "fetish", but back then (and still in other places) - the woman was given to man on a platter, or drunk forced into relations. Ever since the concept of respecting women as human beings came to the front - not in the Chivalric way of keeping the "fetish" alive, but in to giving women a chance to find there own way in life, these issues have popped up in ways in both the east and the west that have created this addictions and concepts as away to cope with the reality of the situation.

So you have the whole edifice coming down. Women's movement in both west and east (with a bit of free market machinations) has shown that the whole gig of heterosexual courtship is a illusion, and what shows like KNJ, Oreimo and the like say is that none of our concepts of law, religion, etc can solve these issues because the very basis of this is the self hatred of man towards himself and by extension, everybody around him. Man is the king of nothing and needs the illusions (even if they were created by media, social structures of how men relate to one another and so on) in order to live.

This is the reason why I see shows like Oreimo as the symptom of a larger issue and not nessaerly the cause. Basically, man could never be with women or even have sex with one unless given one, the woman being submissive to the man, or if Zizek is correct - man becoming apart of a nightmare where his desire is realized. The only reason we even are with females in the first place is that its acceptable by social rule and not by need. Anybody can have kids, but that doesn't even mean the two that brought the child in the world even really wanted to be with each other.

So, to even have sex anymore - man needs the fetish. That's were all the dark shit comes from. That's the true lesson of Oreimo, KNJ etc.

No, you don't understand. Saika has short hair, HAIR EARSSSSSSSSSS, is obviously a tomboy so she would more than like have a nicely toned and tight butt, and is basically a Strike Witch since Humikane da god.

The Kyousogiga TV series will start airing on Tokyo MX on October 2nd at 25:30. That slot is currently a 30 minute shopping channel slot, so it looks like we're actually getting full length TV episodes for the series? Yaaaaaay.

The theme song is "Koko" by Tamurapan.

Some hype back for fall.

I understand all of this quite well. Her design is wonderful, and clearly the best there. I'm just saying, she's committing the cardinal sin of ignoring the theme of the product she's appearing in, and she needs to be called out for that. If I buy a CD called "You Can Sleep Together With Your Little Sister", I expect to see pyjamas, dammit, and that shit she's wearing ain't pyjamas.

we already established I have a pyjama fetish back when Prisma Illya started airing, remember? =p

You can't just ask a tomboy to wear traditional PJs, she obviously wouldn't look pretty at all in them. She would only wear those after you've established that she's super cute and she'd be like "O-onii-chan, pajama wa...niau?" (I don't think this sentence is correct in any way but you probably get my meaning) and she'd wear the frilliest and fuwafuwa-est PJs of them all. I still prefer a tank top and shorty shorts since it's easy access.

Clearly I wasn't paying attention since I never knew. My clothing fetishes aren't so complex!

Decent episode I guess. There was a bit too much exposition at the beginning. That said it did do a great job introducing the various characters and establishing a team dynamic.

Artstyle is pretty 80's which is kinda amusing in its own right. I laughed when they used the payphone off of the Expressway. Some of the shots are pretty good from a choreography standpoint.

I should also mention that I really liked the soundtrack near the end.

Well that's certainly... one way to look at it...

I'm inclined to believe she'd be too powerful.

So the bad guys bring about nighttime eternal and its up to the Precure to learn the magic of friendship and use the Elements of Harmony to defeat Nightmare Moon.

....Eh, close enough.
Well, its looking like were starting up the plot run towards the end, possibly. Especially with that episode ending....

The ending introduced a new villian, so that should be interesting...

Kiniro Mosaic 9

Funniest episode yet, mostly due to Ayaya's adorable misunderstandings along with the usual dose of Shino being lewd as fuck. I'm also still in love with the somewhat deformed faces in this show more than I am with other shows like it.

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
Day Break Illusion 9

Well, didn't see that coming.

I figured Seira would be the one to eventually go evil. Turns out it was Luna, but not by her own choice. Also I knew that wasn't Akari right from the start.

Make sure you check out the excellent first 2 movies after the OVA series.

A little something from the Toonami Q&A this morning, as posted in the Toonami thread...

Yikes, people sure don't like Fairy Tail in there. It's kinda shocking. I saw every episode (as it's one of my favourites) and there's nothing really in there (aside from some small noticeable animation issues halfway through the series) that screams "STAY AWAY!" IMO.

Cerebrum keeps things interesting really.
Was about to shut the show off when Akari played the YURI card but then when she responded I was like that is definitely not her. I had somehow thought in the back of my mind that the akari who first appeared as serene-onee chan was him but then I just didnt think on it further. Surprisingly I guess my first guess was right. Rather impressed with his plan and how he had this happen to Luna, far better than staying the same and having her battle her counterpart. Poor Akari and Seira.
.

Kiniro Mosaic 9

Man...playing the credits with six whole minutes left in the episode? That was a bit odd.

Adorable as usual, though. Definitely needed that after Daybreak Illusion.

I don't know if gloomy is the word that best describes what I'm looking for, but I just can't get excited for either Trigger's or Bone's upcoming action shows, after seeing their respecitve CMs and thougth about it a bit. I feel terrible about the fact, but it's how it is.

That's just personal tastes coming through, nothing to feel terrible about. I don't intend to watch Kill la Kill, and while I'm looking forward to Space Dandy I'm not expecting to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Flowers of Evil or am presently enjoying Rozen Maiden.

Akari accidentally takes a time machine to the past, and uses the opportunity to try and fix her past mistakes.
I'm not making that up. That actually happens. Really.
