There are so many things going on in this show. Wakamoto werewolf kings and megane coffee mugs and doppelgangers and ragedragons and living blood...it's all pretty hectic. Interesting, though. It's a little weird to think that there's only one episode to go. No idea how they're going to conclude it.

Bear in mind that they are still in elementary school, even if they aren't always written that way. That said, they do get taller and lankier as the show goes on.

As far as I know, Precure is all in middle school while Sailor Moon is middle-high.

One of the best spa episodes I've seen in a long time.

Sadist was just overflowing with that maximum amount of dere throughout the whole thing.

Sad that the dog is still completely oblivious that she wants him. Though, he'll be forgiven this time after that Yuri fantasy he had.

The Cursed Forest re-appears, which is causing Maho-Dou's Tree of Life to die, and consequentially, Hana as well. It's the curse of the Queen Two Reigns ago, who was responsible for closing off communication from Humans because her husband died RATHER GRAPHICALLY BY FALLING OFF A CLIFF, and her child died from old age. She is also the reason why witches turn into frogs if a human spot them doing witch things.

Majo Rika was one of the few witches that made it possible to stay in contact with the Human World. The only way to save Hana is with a Love Supreme, but only one person came back... before succumbing to a 1000 year coma. Despite the threat of this place, the gang show their conviction, and Pop wants to join in too, but Doremi tells her not to because she's not sure if she'll be back alive considering the Queen Of 2 Reigns ago is the strongest of all witches. They also got their witch orbs back.

How will this end? Who knows.

I...agree with you. I know this is coming from the man who practically judged the whole show from the 4kids dub (which I then quickly learned here is like saying a chocolate cake tastes horrible after pouring dirty toilet water all over it) but the art style just didn't agree with me. It wasn't horrible, just...distracting. I don't know, I just like looking at more detailed animation in anime IMO.

Monogatari S2 episode 9

I didn't notice it last night when I saw it but I just realized this whole episode was done using only two VAs. I'm having a hard time thinking of another show that got away with using so few for an episode. Maybe Tatami Galaxy 10 trumps it but I'd have to watch it again in case there were incidental voices outside of the main character. I think Squid Girl and Nichijou both had great silent segments but neither of them were for the whole episode.

I don't know why but this trivial fact amused me and it got me curious.

Moretsu Pirates/Bodacious Space Pirates Episode 24: Yes, I rather like how this arc has been playing out, all of the dashing space pirate adventure and nothing of the boring ass High School pablum. Indeed this episode sees the Bentenmaru square off against the Grand Cross and survive, but at not before paying a pound of steel in exchange for an escape. The rest of the episode is mainly build up for the upcoming ravel and final battle, as we learn the identity of the enemy, the admiringly simplistic motivations, and the spies contained within the web.

Into the forest, where situations appear of the girls most ideal moments. They have no regrets for what they're about to do, which had split frame nudity involved. Each of them gave themselves up to open up the barrier to get the Love Supreme, cursing them and losing their witch stones in the process (which means they can't be witches anymore). The forest disappears with their bodies on the ground. The Queen attempts to remove their curse for their dedication for Hana, but they brought Hana in before she did so.

Hana was cured, and crawled to each of them, calling out their names, with one final yell going Mama! Waking them up from their curse. With everything situated, it was time to leave... never to come back, and so they go to maho dou to do more work. Seeing a mother with her child pained them more, and then go into Maho Dou, sad, and didn't even look back in the final few seconds.

Gonna be honest, when you throw a baby into the mix of things, the first thought is "god damn it, the shark has jumped eh?" I had some fears that, thankfully, did not come to fruition over this season, as it gave us an aspect to explore that wasn't really exploited in the first season: The Parents. Doremi's family getting the most exposure in this regards.

It didn't focus just on the parents, as the kids still had their time the limelight, and the plot of the weeks were also a continuation of their issues from the previous season. So in a way, it does retread into some of those things

, pulls it off well enough to not drag # down.

The 'Feels' department must've gotten a promotion for this season, because there was plenty more of those here. The biggest feels episode being 40, which was like one big knot of an ongoing subplot that was more than satisfying, and quite frankly... masterful for the mahou shoujo genre in its entirety, and it helps that Doremi continues to grow its overall cast instead of making them feel worthless. This is probably something it'll definitely have over other long running magical girl shows (or at least ones that don't change up the cast too much like Precure), but I'm probably speaking too soon.

Let me start by saying that the Engrish in the OP was super duper awful and I never want to hear it ever again. Watching this makes me realize how much Humikane improved in his designs, since the somewhat slimmer way he did his mecha-musume stuff was/is kinda eh compared to his godly current stuff. The plot seems very much like Strike Witches in a different time setting, except women apparently wear pants (we're already off to a terrible start) and this smaller cast of characters don't seem to have even a fraction of the charm the Strike Witches cast had. Those skin tight suits better give me lots of butts or else I will be fairly disappointed.

Almost spot-on but sufficient enough ... congrats to the casting , they really nailed the character !

I have nothing else to add in my impressions of this episode because i'm a Dxd fan ..it's was quite well done...especially in the second part when they did their best to integrate gasper into the team antics and they did good.

Issei delusions are still something to be feared.. i'm smiling because i know this isn't even the craziest part yet.

This was a good adaptation they did change some points from the LN.
