I could never recommend this show enough. If you have not watched it yet then start it is amazing. Yes most of the time it's goofy but sometimes it gets really serious and I think that is when it shines. The viewers finally here Gintoki's master for the first time and learn how he and his master met. The fighting in this episode was excellent like most of Gintama's fight scenes and the ending was very emotional. It seems there's another arc starting next episode so I'm exited.

I wonder if any has penned this yet, would be just as good as the Shino Sousuke ones. Good plot and pretty shocking moments as it went on. I like this mini arc more than the previous episode.

Ao makes a good antagonist and is so alluring. So calm even too. Kobu randomly showing up was good but needs to do something. I guess he and Genpachi will handle the Yana and the seal that keeps getting loose doing the bloodshed while Shino and Sousuke will handle Ao? I think that makes for a good story.

I'm not really feeling the main character of Girls Und Panzer.

The whole "guts, teamwork, and dedication" theme kinda falls flat when the protagonist is one step short of being the heir to a legendary tank dynasty. Were it not for aircraft carrier-centric societies inscrutably functioning on a system of primogeniture she'd be one of the villains, y'know? She'd be hanging out in a big tank looking menacing in the closing shot of the episode right alongside her sister, while monocle girl would be the protagonist proving her worth in the face of a vastly better-trained and better-equipped foe with nothing but chutzpah and funny faces, and we'd all be better off for it.
