Alright that's enough Korra out of me today.

Here is one more for the road

I love that Simpsons mystery box. Had a shit eating grin on my face from start to finish.

That episode put me in a weird space, it was a good episode, and I still think Mystery Box could be my favorite feature of theirs, but while I like the simpsons I could never really get into it, and I'm talking what many people consider to be the good seasons. It's really weird, the simpsons is the one property where I feel out of the loop with fellow nerds and CAN'T understand my inability to do so.

They seem like whiny people who shut out all critism of the game are shut out with "they found it too hard" or "they didn't get it." Now this is true for pretty much true for most fan bases. But in the past hour pf reading this stuff instead of doing actual school work thats what I saw.

I've totally noticed an increase in "oh the comments are gonna eat us alive for this" in the videos, which is unfortunate.

I kind of feel like the SBF fanbase in general takes a critical eye to lots of things. Not in a bad way, either. I feel the primary draw of 2BF is that they look at things under a magnifying glass in a way LPers often don't, and as a result attract people with an interest in doing that. For that reason, it might seem that there is often more negative to say than positive. Hell, I've put negative opinions on some videos out there, myself, and I spent hundreds of hours poring over their content to assemble that stupid recommendations document. You couldn't reasonably doubt that I like them overall, but even I've been critical.

It's also easier to be critical of something in a negative way than a positive one. You see it in their videos for Christ's sake. For the longest time they primarily played bad video games because it was easier to fill a video with that, and only recently have they played good games (and sparingly even now). It's hard to talk about how good something is and not come off as obsessed or a fanboy or etc. It's just difficult to put positive criticism into words. I try to do it when they do something rare that I like, but I definitely take the regular stuff for granted.

That being said, the guys are really down-to-earth and take an active part in the community, which puts them really close to the opinions being put out there. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take it pretty hard in comparison to others doing the same thing, because it's in a weird way more personal. I feel for 'em. The only things anyone can really do for 'em is make sure any criticism is constructive and fair -- and something you'd say to a person's face in the way you typed it -- and maybe voice their positivity more often.

Once you start looking at places like deviantart or tumblr you can't really stop. It's like Imgur. I actually haven't looked into Korra crossover art but I'm guessing I should now.

Ew, deviantart. The good stuff will find itself in a picdump on /co/ anyway.

Mainly K-H-Y-U or Iahfy, but that's fine.

I don't go to 4chan anymore. I still really like deviantart, tumblr and the subreddit for the art, tho.

Kyhu/iahfy is the same lady but yeah. It's fine.

Also your avatar is so sad! What happened?
I didn't expect Korra to have a Pixiv tag... It's a pretty good site for fanart if you have an account.

I'll look into checking out that site for Korra stuff now. Thank you

Huh, didn't know that. Well, the artstyle was the same, so I should have. I don't follow artist blogs.

Katia has had a hard life.
I am still trying to figure out what your avatar is from
Katia, from Prequel Adventures, or Making a Cat Cry: The Adventure.

It's quite fun.

I feel like it's mostly just because Youtube is a steaming pile of shit for comments. Take a look at the subreddit and here. Sure we're fans, but there's a lot more positive/constructive criticism raised on Reddit and here when we're not shitposting each other.

Woo! I was raving about it a few pages back.

My Smash Bros CD just came in the mail sweet.
Rest in peace Club Nintendo. Now for Mewtwo!
Clicked on it before I saw the comments, but I didn't see anything either. I'm on mobile tho.
What's R-18? Just porn I'm assuming.

No regrets!

R-18G on the other hand, hoo boy indeed.

Wait there's adult material here? I haven't got too deep in there.

I'm not seeing that stuff... Is it a filter or something?

Hoo boy. People gonna be discovering the R-18 section of Pixiv up in here.

Woah there. I should have remembered what site I was clicking on. The third image was just Bolin completely naked. Half of the others are just nude Korra.

Yeah there was a little bit of lewdness from what I saw in the 10 pages. Some of the non-lewd art is nice!
