I just booted up super punch out and I don't see what is so great about the game...


Maybe it was great 10 years ago, but it isn't anymore. Oh well, atleast it's a free bonus.
 
For one time, a thread was started with a very interesting info, other than "I just bought an Xbox, what good games should I buy ?" and all you do is trying to make the guy quits the forum before he even has any chance of speaking up.

I write for GameDAILY BIZ. There, was that so hard? When its not relevent to my posts (99% of the time), my job never gets mentioned. When it is relevent (like when I hear information about a game being delayed, or any other sort of scoop) I say something like "When speaking with ___ about a story on ____ I came across this information I thought GAF might be interested in."

I did that even when I was a "Junior Member." Never got shit from anyone for my supposed "rank" on this board.

As someone else asked, is this your first day on the internet? How did you EXPECT people to react?

I have the benefit of coming into this thread long after the fact... but people have been harsh to this guy. Some people are carrying on the trend... I understand that not posting a link or whatever, or that this may have been a rumor - was always going to get the usual responses and trolls, but enoughs enough. We now know he's a good source and the news seems right.. easy mistake to make if you ask me. What's he meant to link to? His job? Even if he'd of said who he was, there would almost certainly have been people mocking his junior member status regardless before someone confirmed it.

As to whoever said he hopes he loses his job, remember you said that if anything similarly nasty happens to you or anyone you know in the next few days/weeks/months.

It's hard even for people who've been here a while to get a grasp of someone's tone. If you were just messing around or whatever, then fair enough... but it was just one of the comments I read in this catalogue of harshness :D

Maybe because it´s a true statement?.

I believe since Megaton GAF is way too oversensitive to info without link and confirmation. It´s nice don´t believe, just say so and that it´s all, but it shouldn´t be a good idea to send to the hell directly everyones that comes with this type of info.

And the junior member crap like gaf was some type of elitist group is kinda tiring. This automatic bashing to junior members should finish. The forum is not ours, we are just guests here, who has give us the right to dismiss anyone? It´s particular annoying how some posters are angry because... he was right and he didn´t accept bashing and insults for being a junior member.

We should be a little more polite.

I created several Super Punch Out characters on the Xbox version of Fight Night. Hopefully there will be more CAB options, so I can really make some good ones.

Why? most of the journalist here won´t say anything because they can´t or they don´t want (myself because I doesn´t know anything interesting at all, I have just signed a NDA once in my life and was for N-gage QD).

Possibly he couldn´t provide any source at all, lot of this "insider" info for what I know comes from casual chats. He want, and can, give us a hint of that? nice from him. don´t believe it? perfect, but at least don´t attack him like he was a criminal.

Possibly the final learning here is that he could have saved himself from all this not saying anything like this, and won´t do anymore. It´s a shame, but that is what some of you wanted.
