My phone's WiFi tethering is even faster than my actual internet service! WTF?

I miss my University of Texas connection. ;__;
(I'm actually on campus right now. My home connection is a bit worse.)
That explains the ping and the wonky download-upload ratio.

I have better download, same ISP, cheapest non-Economy package. I can actually get 25+ megabits down when wired up and this is without Powerboost, too.
I used to have worse than that so yeah, I'm not complaining about our current connection at all. Sucks for you though. D:

To be honest, I don't really need to worry about online if I want to play Smash because Florida has such a huge Smash scene. For example, johnbone probably won't ever have to play online because he goes to UF lol.
My internet is still pretty shitty though, don't get me wrong.

For people who depend a lot on Internet, like netflix, hulu and over 5GB digital download games.
But I'm not talking about the speed. NYC Comcast is pretty bad because of customer service experiences from what I heard. Many people can't change because there is no second options due to Comcast monopolizing the area

Not sure about these numbers. Seems pretty meh to me for a game like Smash Bros.
Some games that I play on PC run fine online, so I'm not too concerned about my connection for now.
That was the first one I've seen

Nah, you being on campus lol. Whenever I did speed tests from my campus, I got results like that too. I'd assume part of the reason is due to bandwidth shaping on the University's part and the high amount of connections they have to deal with, but I'm no network engineer.
That sounds good! Might actually be able to do it there then!
