Things I am looking forward to with a GC controller:
1) Easier air dodges, since I'll map one of my face buttons to dodge.
2) Down-right, and down-left. Bowser Bomb punishes will no longer go in the wrong direction.
3) 95% less SDs!

Edit: Sweet I can still do my Aerial FC on the ground as Ganondorf.

Plus the guilty moment when you meant to do down-right, but down-left was registered, and the opponent rolls into it, giving you the kill. :-/

Yeah, this kind of filler crap is heavily frowned upon here. Discussing the stages is the preferred route.

Generally, any Little Mac matchup in For Glory will be unbearable crap. None of those characters have been a particular nuisance though.

Has anyone else had their 3DS forget some of their character colour choices? For some reason mine reverted to default Palutena and default Robin despite seemingly remembering a bunch of other ones
Happened to me once. Happened to my opponent last night.
Your opponent is moving forward in the same direction you're pressing, so you get fooled into thinking it's you. I'm like "what's he doing going off the stage? Early edge strategy? Jackass is suiciding already? Oh." :|
So much beneficial stuff happens due to the bad controls (edit: actually not too often). Just yesterday I had Oil Panic come out by accident, absorbed an attack at point blank range I didn't see coming and ended the game a few seconds later. Most common one is having opponents roll into my neutral attack facing the wrong way. Don't feel guilty because just as often (or more) I get punished facing the wrong way or SD from the poor controls.
Can you save replays in For Glory matches? I've had a few crazy/fun games but saw no way to save them. I fought this one Villager as DHD and he pocketed a can. While midair we both released cans at near the same time. They exploded in a chain reaction that propelled us really fast off stage in an instant. I got the win with the dog's face pressed against the screen.

Yes. No idea why. I never use default DHD colors.

Never getting tired of fsmashing them when they roll behind me. They always do that after getting flame choked.
Press Y on the Results screen - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to share replays though.

Glad it's not just my imagination then. I never play default Robin either
It also has a hard limit of 64 replays, doesn't matter how big your SD card or the like is, 64 is your lot
Annoyingly there's no way to rewind or skip about in a replay either, which is annoying as I save any match I lose or where I see something interesting and it's hard to analyse what people do sometimes without a rewind function :/

Obtaining custom moves through spectator mode? Somehow I don't think that is a thing.
You can, whenever it says bonus chance with a treasure chest next to it and you bet right you get a random piece of equipment, a custom move or more money.

So no character icon at all? Did you get a screencap of it and it just says standard 2? Sounds weird. Maybe you got a Palutena/Mii Fighter Custom since they are already preloaded with their's?

It's no problem. Good games! I was having a lot of trouble against your Dark Pit. You were spacing your moves pretty well. > . <
Yeah, at low percents it's easy to mash out of. It can be a good tool to get a kill, but you have to really know your opponent is going to attack you since the counter window is so small. I had trouble using it against you at first which lead to me getting punished a bunch, but I was pretty happy getting those two kills from it in that last match. : p

Yeah it was just that red custom move square with no character icon in it with a title saying standard 2, literally that was it. I didn't take a pic because I thought it was just a bug and it most likely was so I was wondering if it was a common problem?
