Honestly, even the people that seem like they may be low tier can compete in this game against most folks.

This game's balance seems great barring any super OP advanced tech discoveries. Only thing that really needs fixing post-haste is that touch to radar thing because it screws a lot of characters.

I waffled back and forth since the demo. I played on a regular for a week, and now I'm back to the XL. I honestly can't tell the difference in feel for this game. It requires a slightly difference grip on the system, but neither felt more comfortable, and my hands are relatively large. The issue I had that made me wonder if the XL was ideal is with four players on certain stages that zoom very far out. That plus the noticeably better contrast on the XL screen (and less reflections) made me lean toward the XL.

Honestly, if the 3D on the XL wasn't so fragile, it would be the one to pick, no hesitation. I find the 3D on the regular system to be rock solid from a variety of distances. The 3D on the XL has precisely one angle and position for it to look good. The slight movements from merely pushing buttons on the XL causes the screen the flicker.

If you are doing 1v1 in 2D, the XL is the clear choice. Otherwise, the regular system is just as good, and better in some aspects.

Sitting at around 50.5% on for glory and done a number of the single player stuff and probably finished with the game for now. I ended up putting quite a bit of time in to it but overall the characters feel ridiculously balanced to me.

Damn Pac-Man is fun. I love throwing fruit and other random Items at enemies. The hydrant is perfect to annoy people as well. The super armor on his side B often catches people by surprise. Decent killing power too. The fact that Pac is smiling almost all the time makes him an awesome troll character. If the 3DS had a messaging system I probably would've gotten hatemail already lol

I'm still unable to play online. I can spectate sometimes but can't actually play any matches. My DL speed is 18 Mbps and 2+ Mbps upload. I've spoken to Nintendo and had a specialist remote access my PC and check my router and confirmed it was properly configured.

At this point I don't see any alternate options but to buy a new router. I want to get one that isn't too expensive but will allow me to connect. So....

Can someone recommend a good router that is reasonably priced and is known to work with Smash and other 3DS/Wii U games?

those were some good games moons u seem to be getting that arcfire combo down a lot better in that match XD and that last air combo u did was really sweet

I don't know what you mean by reasonably priced, but I use the Apple Airport Express. This is the second one I've had in almost ten years and it has never caused trouble. My connection seems flawless.

Thanks for the great games, Sora! Still didn't keep you from wrecking me with Peach, heh. Your edgeguarding and juggling game with her is pretty intense. I'm just relieved that I managed to get the stock deficit somewhat even in spite of all the lost steam. And I stilll need to work on getting Levin aerials out before they cancel on the ground. >>

Also, black/gold Peach is objectively the best colour, so kudos for that.

I was doing real bad when I first started (30% win rate in for glory) until I started playing in the afternoon (I was playing after midnight originally :p )
Turns out less lag helps immensely (though some new tech I've picked up on various characters helps too :D ) and my win rate is steadily climbing now (it's up to above 40%)

I've got a bad habit of going the same character as someone else if they beat me with someone I 'main' (Palutena, Lucina, Robin, Rosalina.) To date I've not actually lost any of the resulting mirror-matches but the person I beat inevitably leaves right afterwards... I kind of want them to stick around so we can improve XD

While Palutena's aerials and smashes are often mentioned as her main tools (and they are!) it's worth not sleeping on her jab. It can be held out indefinitely and has good range so it'll often stuff a lot of people's ground approaches: Sonic literally has no answer to it as far as I can tell except taking to the air: it kills his spins and normals every time without fail. A lot of grab-happy players will run face-first into it quite often too :p
Dear heck I hate auto-reticule though. I can use it but I'd rather have just about any other move as default ¬.¬

black gold peach is the best color lol i was kinda surprised peach's backthrow killed that one stock and her down smash being similar to melee has made me happy lol :p yeah whenever i play robin i always keep forgetting the number of uses i have left for all the items i got to get that shield>nosferatu thing down lol

Getting frustrated at the game when I keep losing due the fact the camera zooms out and I can't see crap.

I like the game but the camera is a pain to deal with.
