Weren't all free DLC characters in TTT2 clones though? Following that precedent, the only extras we'd see here would be all Dr.Mario/Dark Pit/Lucina style.

The best case scenario would be for those characters to be added gradually via routine patches like the one that was announced earlier. Though if they're not in the Wii U version by default, I can see them being made paid downloads - the allure of milking a large playerbase is too strong.

Adding characters along the way would be a smart move to keep the interest high.

But not for a fee. It doesn't work for Smash, where characters are the core of the gameplay. Imagine if you had to pay to unlock Meta Knight in Brawl, or Ice Climbers (#2 in the tier list).

The funniest thing about the wasted slots mentality is that it clashes with the idea that there are potential slots (the grey space around the roster). Two sides with competing idea because one is angry and the other is desperate.

How to get mew and mewtwo in pokemon stadium then? My childhood is pending on this. I had both unlocked due to my friends pokemon red.. I believe.

You also get an extra starter in pokemon red/blue/yellow from pokemon stadium too im remembering now.. >

Mew was only given at events.

Everyone I know sharked that. Although now we can just do the Mew glitch.

It's great that our initial fears were unfounded, as far as the number of challenges go.

She was intended to be an alt costume and changed from it. This likely happened with doc and dark pit as well.

I really don't remember in what interview he said that,but someone asked him if anybody got cut for time restrains,and sakurai said that this was the roster from the beginning

One of the streamers discovered that sometimes when you get the star man item, the music goes away for the rest of the match.

Thankfully they can patch the game easily now.
