Older 3DS games definitely have been opened up, Uprising and X/Y among them. It might take a while to make any significant progress with Smash, though.

The Paultena taunt's a little worse in the actual game, because she has this really UH HUH HUH HUH HUH HUH laugh that sounds like she's trying to be sexy.
Hopefully the English VA tones it down a bit.
Also, as much as this game has disappointed me in various avenues, the actual new stages we got (bar Golden Plains) look really good. Watching footage of Gaur Plains and Magicant made me cry with joy.

Me and my friend played the shit out of brawl and we had 2-3 mains each. I almost always played with Captain Falcon though. We had pretty much even matches most of the time, but when he took out meta knight I was done for. I just couldn't handle that.

Honestly, this guy is kind of a pretentious shitbag. Just because you won first place in Nintendo's big Smash contest doesn't mean you speak for everyone's opinion.
Yeah, some characters have different nerfs and buffs, but that is to be expected in a game like this, especially considering how unbalanced Brawl was at times. I would suggest to hear second opinions from other people.

His standards are pretty high, so while the characters that he claims seem bad might not be "that" bad in actuality, the characters that DO get praise (ie: Bowser) are characters you should watch out for.

Honestly my slight disappointment with the roster aside this one thing made me a lot happier.
I've never felt Ganondorf needed a moveset composed solely of a sword considering his boss battles are so varied. I was fine with him continuing to be a Falcon clone with a couple of sword special moves.
I really wish if had one more though. Still I would push strongly for anyone playing with me who uses Ganondorf to use this move.
