I grabbed a code on another site. The game looks amazing on my OG 3DS, although it's a bit uncomfortable to hold for L & R. Of course, I find the Vita small for my hands too, so there's that.
The only mode available is a 2 min Smash, either against CPU or against friends locally. Available characters are Mario, Link, Pikachu, the Animal Crossing dude and Mega Man. Only one stage available, the battlefield, on both the omega and normal forms.

My sleep schedule has been awful all week long, staying up to see what's happening in Japan.
If I understand correctly, here's what I missed:
-3DS can be used as a controller for the Wii U version
-Club Nintendo is sending out demo codes, and I haven't been emailed.

God, I suck at this game, hard. Tried all the characters and the only one that I could manage to do something besides dying was Mega Man.

I put in for a code request on the other thread. I had Platinum this year...only for Nintendo to take it away because they have a ridiculous start and end date from years on that site (it's July 1 - June 30 WTF). Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will be kind enough to share.
