Please tell me that that movie poster belonged to Cera's character.
Same goes for Gotham. Just do a Batman TV series.
I'm glad that Warner Bros. is starting to ease up on their infamous embargoes for the TV shows.
But.... how can it be anybody else other than Henry Cavill???? Isn't the whole point of universe building is that you have the same actors playing their roles??
COME ON WB!!
uhm, how about the existing established Supermen you already have?
jesus fucking christ DC is so bad at this live action stuff.

The problem with Welling is that he, in part, brings Smallville into the picture which already had its own Flash, Oliver Queen, etc. Which raises some continuity issues with Supergirl since her Earth never had a Flash or Green Arrow.
Give the suicide squad back to Arrow you fucks
Blame Snyder for that.
the Marvel shows don't do it, why would WB? and besides DC has a multiverse no need for amateur fan wankery of having everything tied up.
I think it was confirmed Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman from the 70's show) was playing that role. Or they were at least trying to get her for it.I want Teri Hatcher to play the president who has already been established to be a woman.
Smallville was it's own show. again, DC = multiverse.
Tom Welling. Dude still looks damn good.
They just had an entire season on Flash about another earth and things being different on it, with the same actors playing different versions of their characters, and multiple Flashes.Yeah, but Welling playing Clark Kent/Superman again even on the same network Smallville ran on but not being the same Superman would confuse people.

It won't be an issue if they bring Welling in.
edris elba
He's like 5'4 dude. And a massive cunt. Veto'd.Who's the most all-American actor I can think of...
Timothy Olyphant. I want to see him be Superman. I don't care if it doesn't make sense. I want a grizzled older cowboy Superman.
t
why? they looked awful and the episodes were mostly shit anyway.
.
He already plays her adoptive dad in flashbacks.Dean Cain if he still looks the part.

This gotta have Brandon Routh feeling some kind of way

Iris & Joe & even Barry were pretty much the same, with very minor changes. The only thing changed was the dynamic between them due to not having the same relationship. Their personalities were pretty much the same (and before you say Barry wasn't as nerdy/awkward, think about the Proferssor Stein flashback). Barry just got a huge confidence boost with is powers, and of course growing up with Joe as his Dad with Iris in the same house changed the relationship dynamic. The Flash comparison isn't exactly apt though because the same actors on the alternate Earths were rarely similar. The Flashes of Earth-2 and Earth-3 weren't even the same people. If anything the DC multiverse hammers down the idea that the same actor/person wouldn't be the same superhero across multiple universes.

This has confusing disaster written all over it. Superman should be reserved for cinematic outings only.
What happened to all the talk of WB bringing in a 'name' filmmaker to soft reboot Superman with a Man Of Steel sequel?
I'm not feeling this at all.
Sounds like comic-level nonsense alright. Not only in flashbacks. It was revealed late in the first season that he had survived what all the characters had believed to be his fatal encounter with the original Hank Henshaw and had been held at Cadmus this entire time. Alex and J'onn were actually on their way to Cadmus to investigate when the events of the finale forced them to double back.
Sounds like comic-level nonsense alright.
Are they still keeping Kara in an alternate Earth from the rest of the CW heroes?

The prevailing theory is that the universes will be brought together by the end of the season. There's a four way crossover in the works between Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow that will probably be the catalyst.
For now. It is assumed that the move from CBS to CW and a need for a four-way crossover will quickly kill that distinction. Flash finale even seemed to build up to a merging of the earths, until they took a swerve.
But if they do that, don't they open the Superman can of worms? Going to be really strange having him be a random Supergirl cameo while the rest are having cross-overs.
