"A man's got to have a code, Dean."

"It's a thin line 'tween heaven and here" - Cass/Bubbles, would be the perfect quote.

coincidentally, I'm also watching The Wire, almost done with season 3.

fun episode

I like Cas' new sidestory, beign sucked into Netflix. It allows us to relate to him ever more <3. What if the actual main antagonist of Season 11 isn't The Darkness, but rather Netflix and having to find out how to save Cas from binging on it? I was kind of hoping for Amara to show up when Dean and Sam are tied up, have the babysitter be all happy and shit, then have Amara tell her to let Dean go, because she likes him more. Then the babysitter is all heartbroken and goes even more psycho, tries to kill Dean, Amara killed her, then she looks at Dean and is like I saved you again :D! If she were an adult, she could have been like I'll always be there fore you Dean ;). O GOD MY MIND STARTING TO DO FANFIC WITH THE DARKNESS AND DEAN WHAT THE SHIT?!

Anyways, aside my my inevitable mental breakdown, I like how Baby is good as new. I also liked how they showed how people react differently to not having a soul. The guy was always gentle and like a giant teddy bear so even without a soul he was still kind, nice, and felt guilty and the urge to prevent himself from hurting others. Meanwhile the babysitter was abused as a child and went through what seemed like a rough breakup, so she had a lot of resentment inside of her which caused her to see out comfort, which in this case was a being she felt set her free.

The look of pure hatred when Amara was called an angel also "Do I look like a whiny winged suck up?" made me laugh lol.

Fun episode.

I think we ruined him from the last time he posted, guys. Are you okay pal?

I wonder if Cas knows about a Netflix and Chill.

When you're ten minutes into Netflix and Chill and he gives you this look:

No Deastial pls...
Knowing Cas he'd probably be like "chill? Do you want me to make it colder in here?" Or something like that. I tend to avoid the episode previews now, I like going in blind to the episode, makes it more exciting and enjoyable imo.

I wonder what happened to Crowley. Amara obviously escaped from him, so did she eat him, did he run away like he did with Cas, what happened? Speaking of Amara is it just me or is that actress annoying? The way she eats Souls is overthetop and urks me, young Amara ate Souls way better.

Crowley is losing his grip (not that he ever had any) and it looks like we'll see some of that next episode.

Heh, Crowley grounding the big bad Darkness is amusing. Cas watching reruns of trashy shows...his antics never cease to amuse me.

I tried to watch the Impala POV episode but couldnt finish it. Theyre really scraping the bottom of the barrel for gimmicks arent they?

I had an inkling they'd go the sibling route. That's the overarching theme of the whole show, and they did it with Michael and Lucifer already. Might as well kick it up a notch to God and The Darkness.

I'm sorry you didn't like it. The general consensus was that it was one of the best episodes in a while.

Unfortunate.

Why is Cas such a putz still? Last I remember of him he gave up his god powers and exploded releasing the leviathans. Does he have angel powers?

Haven't watched in years (didn't really have live TV). Finally have live tv again, and saw this and last week's episode. Really liking all of this again. Some point I need to binge watch the entire series to properly catch up

Pretty good episode. Really wish they could come up with some believable way for Sam and Dean to be a threat to Amara level entities, though.

It always plays out in the same way, force pushed to a wall and somehow a stabbing while the big bad is distracted.

Hard truth: He's kept around because fans like him.

Current story truth: He was under a curse and is now recovering from it so he's spending his time watching Netflix.

Yeah. I can see that. I saw Cas was looking at some porn site. A perfect opportunity to reference busty asian beauties.

Seems like we're leading up to the cage being opened. Then Heaven and Hell will have to unite to defeat her, the Angel/Demon at the bar earlier on was a bit of a hint at that too I think.

Another good episode with some solid information on some previous unknowns - though I don't really see what Sam's silly "no killing" policy is going to accomplish. Okay, dude.

That cage tease tho...

Edit: I'm still trying to guess where they're going with this whole Dean/Amara thing.

so now were back on the "secrets" cycle of season i see. and i thought the cage was just a name.

Have they gutted a demon yet.

Because if they're not chanting 50 words of latin for each demon they come across Sam is just faking it.

Still less secrets than in Arrow!

Oh man.... well, you'll see if you watch the episode. lol Sam making things awkward as f.

Edit: WTF at the next episode preview.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRfwnScdpFM

Dean, she's jailbait. Stop getting a hardon for the super evil things, that's Sam's thing.

Sam beds down with evil when he thinks hes doing good. Dean is the one with the summer of love with the king of hell.

So, siblings then? I was thinking lovers.

And if God and Darkness are siblings, who are their parents? Something had to come first.

Life and Death? (In simple terms, I'm sure the show will come up with a better name for Life than Life)

Season 12 will have them seeking out the thing that creates life and that will reveal Death isn't dead at all, but just chilling on a beach somewhere eating lots of greasy fast food.

Well that was an interesting episode. I expected Amara to be an ex lover of God or something, didn't see her being his sister. Is there a biblical precedence for God's sister? I can't say that I've ever read anything about God historically having siblings. Mirror's the show's brother/family relationship themes well though, I have to admit. And now we know for certain that Sam's visions are about the cage, WOOHOOO!

My predictions for where the season is headed:

Sam's visions are from Lucifer, I'm betting that Luci and Michael have reconciled somewhat now that they've had forced time to actually sit down and talk to each other, just like Sam and Dean always reconcile, so Luci and Michael are working together to help Sam and Dean out. Maybe the cage is capable of holding Amara too, and they are going to have to spring Luci and Michael in order to make room to throw Amara into the cage, and since Dean and her have this "connection", and she has a weakness for him, Dean will be the only one "powerful" enough, or even capable of getting her in there. And the season will end with Amara in the cage, Dean broken hearted for putting her there, and Michael and Lucifer free and on the loose.

All pure speculation of course, but that's my hunch.

Don't know if I forgotten or never figured it out, but didn't realize that Crowley's dungeon wasn't in hell until this episode.

If this happens, I might start watching this again regularly. I watched last night's episode because of Fiction's freak out. Was a really good episode.

But why is God giving Sam visions of the cage? Doesn't make sense. Unless he's basically reminding him that his destiny is to be Lucifer's vessel and fight Michael but that's not relevant to this season.
