Is it possible to miss the EX Dungeon like in Vesperia?

Not really. But you unlock some bonus islands for cameo fight by using expedition ship
How do unlock everyones sub quest?
Don't worry. The others aren't as hard. You can do them any time later in the game

At yseult, the side dialogues with the priest were hilarious

The "Confess your sin" in the church? That was gold. You will get more of those later

OMG people this game is awesome! Laphicet won my heart with both his cuteness and sweetness! No really that skit where Rokuro and him
imitate Bienfu melt my heart....it was way too much.
His smile must be protected!

My favourite characters so far is Oscar and sadly he is not playable :( or at least not to my knowledge.

Contrary to his cute appearance, he can protect his own smile.

yeah. There are more? Sounds great. I've seen three different characters so far, do you get others after fulfilling more criteria?

It still says due tomorrow which means I won't get it until Saturday. I wanted to play it this weekend before I started my new job.

Question (beginning related). Very early in the game when
Daemon Blight is explained they mention it's a disease that turns people and beasts into Daemon's that are basically hell bent on killing everything. Why are there Daemon's with self control and in a way non-aggressive? I can understand in Velvet's case, but I have no idea in other cases like Rokurou, Dyle, or those Titania prisoners.
That explanation feels totally omitted so far.

I'm downloading on Steam right now... can I play it once it is done downloading or is it still not out officially until the 27th?

Edit: You guys seem to say it is unlocking right now pretty much.

From what I can tell
daemons experience increased taste for bloodshed. This leads to stuff like daemons attacking people indiscriminately but not all of them entirely lose their reason. If you talk to the daemons in the prison some of them talk about stuff like the crimes they committed iirc after turning into a daemon which lead to their imprisonment.

There's probably some more information on this later on considering the explanation given early on is coming from people who aren't entirely sure of the Daemonblight's origins and its full effects.

I'm 6 hours in and all it has been is button mashing. There's zero difficulty so far on Hard.

IDK...I fought Baron Bat at Level 7 when he was Level 9 on Moderate difficulty and that was a really challenge. It and the regular bats were all small and moved around fast, so only certain attacks (I forget which they are called) would hit them reliably, and the Baron put out enough damage from his rapid attacks that strategic healing from Break Souls was very necessary, as well making sure to let him it be able to summon more bats w/o interruption occasionally so I would have access to easy Souls to refill my Soul Gauge.

It's pretty early in the game, but I found that fight very satisfying and strategic.

In a skit
Rokurou mentions daemons lose some human emotions. It seems which ones vary between daemons. It probably depends on the individual as well as the type of daemon

Nice pc port. Not really enjoying the prologue so far. It's a bit too cheesy with the family stuff etc but yeah I know shit's about to go down and the tone is about to change drastically so can't wait.

Edit:
just as I picked up again after typing this post everyone in town dies. Now thats what im talking about

A question for the people playing it on Steam: Did they remove the vocal track from the opening video again, like in Zestiria?

Started today and 5 hours in.
Played Zestiria on PS4 and liked it, even with its flaws.
Berseria feels like a nice step up in some aspects :)
Can not judge the full game yet, of course.

Hmm THAT scene which was censored, comparing it to the japanese version, ain't that bad. Still kind of makes sense.

Yeah, it actually looks worse in the censered version, imo.

I understand the imagery though of
a child being held up in thr air with a sword through his chest though

Man velvets costume is beyond silly. Quiet looks reserved in comparison. Gonna grab that prologue costume as soon as I can.

Yo that was a damn good intro. I was a bit indifferent on Velvet's VA but during the climax she really screamed her heart out.

Also this prison music is pretty boss.

And I love Velvet's stupid costume. When I play a jRPG I love when it's just as stupid anime as fuck.

Ok, at this point I'm pretty sure I've figured out exactly what Artorius's end goal is
end Deamonblight by ridding humanity of emotions like he did the Malak
. I suspected as much earlier, but after certain events in Yseult I'm pretty much convinced now

Welp *puts Magilou into his party and never takes her out*

I enjoy that during the prison break out the daemons aren't just mindless monsters but are hanging out and shooting the shit with other humans.

Can someone explain to me how to set up artes combos in that musou-like screen, or point me towards some guides. I honestly never understand the combat system no matter how many Tales games I try.

Oh, does Berseria takes place in the world of Symphonia? Because a character mentioned the Kharlan War / Tree and Martel.
I know Berseria is 1000 years before Zestiria.

pretty sure it's just a cameo mention type thing, like how in many Tales arena's you can fight past tales characters.

This VIP we're escorting is totally
the prince, isn't it?

EDIT: CALLED IT

EDIT 2:
Also, based on the "suppression", I think it's pretty clear this was called on two counts

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.

Since Kharlan is a travelling planet, and is the name of a "distant land" that existed in Berseria's history, it's entirely possible.
