which platform again?
PS pro.
It was even better that the arcade. I didn't encounter the typical arcade stuttering that was present even on local play.

You're not gonna be on PSN ?
No nude Miguel hype ? :/
I may play on PS4 if my bro gets the PS4 version but at the moment not really. I'll post pics and gifs of Leather Daddy Miguel.

Question about those who haven't touched Tekken since 2,3,5 or the rest. What pulled you back into the series? Does 7 have something the others didn't in your eyes?
Just thought it about time I learned to play Tekken tbh. I am heavily into fighting games nowadays and I haven'played the series since I was much much younger.Question about those who haven't touched Tekken since 2,3,5 or the rest. Personally I preferred characters with quick, easy to input attacks so for me that was Heihachi, Kazuya and Paul Pheonix back in Tekken 2. But I'm not very good (and I'm getting old lol) so maybe that's incorrect.Just thought it about time I learned to play Tekken tbh. Akuma is helping to break me in a little, once I am more comfortable with the weight, movement and it being 3D I fully intend to learn the rest of the cast. I do not know who is a beginner friendly character to start with though.
Might also want to add to the first post that this game releasing tomorrow is not Tekken 7. It is the home version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution, which is the expansion to Tekken 7.
This is also what Namco did with the home versions of Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion (which was released as "Tekken 6") and Tekken Unlimited (which was released as "Tekken Tag Tournament 2").
I don't know why they continue to do this.
6 hours to go for steam unlock

Not sure if this has been posted yet but I saw this video on r/tekken and found it to be extremely informative as someone who hasn't touched the series since Tekken 2: Tekken 7 Character Overviews
Might be a good add for the OT.
Has anyone said anything about 21:9 support?
So apparently people are dodging in Ranked based on their opponent's ranking already. I guess that's the result of having the ability to select your opponent based on all criteria. People on Twitter are already asking for this "feature" to be removed.

This really seems like a questionable decision made by the devs if you've ever played any competitive game in any genre ever. People will use whatever questionable means to try to climb up the the ranks but this really takes it to another level. All it takes is 1 friend to queue into to cheat.
Hopefully this is looked at or maybe it's not as bad as it sounds.

My brother has heavily gotten into fighting games over the last couple of years (MKX and Injustice 2) which piqued my interest in the genre again. I'm going with Tekken 7 because of nostalgia basically and because it looks awesome and like a lot of fun!
But yeah basically family + nostalgia.
Probably been answered already, but does the American version include the NJPW stuff?

Yes it does. The question comes up so frequently here that I'm surprised about how many people on this forum watch NJPW.
Thanks for this! I haven't played since T2 so this was really helpful. I wanted to main Heihachi but looks like he might be fairly difficult according to that vid

Yeah, I thought it was insane that people were happy about this being added. That's like finding out a fighting game doesn't have penalties for rage quitting and calling that a feature. People are right to give shit to SFV but it removing the ability to screen your opponent was a good thing, not a "missing feature" from SF4.
So I feel vindicated that this is already a big enough issue that Harada had to comment on it and the game isn't even launched yet. Hopefully this means it'll be fixed quickly.

Still bummed about no Zafina.
How's Lars tho? Remember loving the ever loving fuck out of him in T6
