I would hate this. I mean, it doesn't lead to exclusivity or anything, but Tencent has been pushing hard on microtransactions on everything they own.

the chinese are slowly taking over...this will only amplify when they take the US spot for largest economy in the world within the next decade.

Well trump did anything he could to prevent it.

Huawei more popular than apple? Good bye Huawei banned.
Xiaomi should be next.

Dont worry... I saw this movie.

Flash Gordon actually stops Ming the Merciless. He also has a theme song....

I'm sure Brian Blessed will help too.

If that goes through it'll create even more pressure for other big players to also start/keep buying. Things are not looking good in the long run.

Makes sense, they're all about that Online micro transaction stuff now anyway, they'll fit in well.

A total and complete disaster for gaming community if that happens. Rockstar is best gaming company in the world by far and I dread thinking what would happen if 🇨🇳 takes over.

Imagine a GTA6 that cannot crack bat soup jokes and has banned on chat all sentences that include Taiwan and Winnie Pooh.
Who the fuck wants to play that?

Also, this would be a hostile takeover, it doesn't sound like the creative team wants to go with it.

This is what happens when you let decades of hacking away at antitrust laws and monopolisation to fester. Now China is coming for America's lunch

Klei went from a top 3 dev for me to a never buy again. Never support an oppressive, hate, censored, ignorant people.

Just checked forum for some of their games on Steam, in a small synopsis i will just say the opinion is negative.
