haha I know right? He's supposed to look happy and joyful, but it ends up looking kinda like this :

And to be fair, this was taken in an organic grocery store pretty popular in France, so I do think they still gotta be tasty (even though there's a special deal going on)!

and I also wanted to dedicate it to terrisus to be consistent with the (joke) thread title :D

... The mascot's worse than that.

Happy looks like a serial killer. Broccoliman looks like Satan, on earth once more.

Dear Max, terrisus and everyone else who likes broccoli, I took this pic for you today

He...he reminds me of someone...I just can't put my finger on it...it's a video game character of some kind...thanks for the pic (I mean, aside from the nightmare fuel side of it, haha)!

Also, tonight:

Grilled marinated rosemary Pork Chop
topped with
roasted BROCCOLI and cherry tomatoes

Soooo good!

That pork chop was amazing. Quinoa with broc tomorrow. No broc tonight, though. Some amazing quinoa my wife made with honey-chile-rubbed bacon, cherry tomatoes, grilled peppers, cilantro, lime juice...corn...maybe other stuff...EVOO. Really amazing. So good I didn't even miss the broc!

My boss is awesome. We just had a conversation about how great roasting broccoli is! I was telling her about how good fresh polenta can be.

Mmm, that's great! I always found tomatoes to perfectly compliment broccoli, like the king and queen of the fruits and the vegetables.

Have I mentioned that I don't like tomatoes either? >.>

Tomato sauce is alright, but it has to be basically water-thin, with nothing gross in it.

Nice! I'd throw avocados in there, too. When I was eating gluten and dairy one of my favorite occasional foods was:

The spinoccoli at Uno's with spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, feta, cheddar, mozzarella, and grated romano.

I used to be like this, too. I like tomatoes now but really am not a fan of mushy tomatoes.

... Tsk. Tomato talk's typically tormentingly terrible at tactlessly turning topics off track. Tackle the troubling turn of tenuous tattling, team!

To be fair, tomatoes are at least better than broccoli :þ

Go jump off a duck, anti-broccoli extremist.

Anyways, tomato time is over, perhaps to be revived another day. Probably to be revived another day, actually. Let us return to broccoli matters, ladies and gentlemen~

Ate spaghetti with cheese and broccoli sauce. It was so darn tasty with the Super Broccoli that the store has started to sell :)

Super Broccoli?

Is that even better than promotion broccoli?

It's a broccoli that has been breed with wild cabbage to make it 2-3 times healthier than normal broccoli here in Sweden. It's something that has been researched and grown for around 30 years it seems

You know, I think you're tossing broccoli randomly into stuff just to have it in there just because of this topic :þ

I'm not a huge fan. It's not gross or anything, but the only time I can truly say I enjoy it is in beef and broccoli. Otherwise it's just kind of...there. Cruciferous vegetables will never be my favorite, though cabbage is thankfully pretty versatile.

No, I really just do eat broccoli often. I need to make up for all the times you're not eating it! I will say though this thread has probably reinvigorated my love for broccoli.

The answer is: roasted! But between boiled and steamed, steamed is usually a bit better.

Unfortunately I only speak English :(

Thanks anyways though!

Masquerader, I'm so proud. That looks delicious!

It almost looks like it's been sprinkled by blood hours before, and the blood has dried in, its coppery colour all too apparent. Obviously, it was the work of the henious Broccoliman.
