the highest threat level means they think an attack is definitely going to happen. When they were raiding anyone in connection with the Manchester bombing it was a real possibility they'd stumble on a bomb factory or something so it went up. Now it's at serve which means they think an attack is likely but they don't know of an immediate plan.

Borough Market is a few minutes away so it could suggest that someone fled this scene.

The highest threat level meant they had reason to believe another attack is imminent. So perhaps that.

This has to stop. I hate having to call my sister everytime there's something going on in London to see if she's okay, then have 3 hours nearly panicking until she calls and says that she's okay.

I hope there are no fatalities and that people can recover from any harm caused by this.

At large events like that there will be roadblocks, especially at this one. Those things have been going up since the events in Nice and Berlin with the trucks.

But yes, if someone wants to, they can just do it a place nearby when people leaving. Or grab a knife and enter the crowd, hurt people, cause a panic. There is little to be done about it I think, except to try and arrest these people before they are able to carry out an attack.

They ran down people on London Bridge at 50+ mph then crashed it, jumped out with big knives, went down some steps to the adjacent Burough Market area to nearby bars and went around stabbing people.

Between 1 and 3 attackers. According to eyewitnesses on LBC.

Just for context too - this is a very popular area on the south bank of the Thames, and also very near to one of London's major rail terminals (London Bridge Station).

They always are and it'll be men as well. Terror networks within the UK are getting out of control. Look at the number of arrests after Manchester. Into double figures.

Looks like downgrading the terror status from critical was a mistake. RIP people.

All we can do is persevere. Misplaced anger will lead to more innocents getting hurt.
