While Serena definitely made a few mistakes and her serve was fairly off, opening up the chances for Kerber... she regardless played flawlessly for almost the whole match apart from a momentary lapse in the second.

Cannot commend her enough for that performance. She could easily have won even had Serena made some more aces.
