"The Ass Nintendo Doesn't Want You To See" (Kotaku)

Actually what weirds me out is that she still acts like a child. Which is... really weird, since she looks like a child, and acts like a child, so you'd think the two would be congruous or whatever, but then you get to an S-level support and she's wearing that weird bikini-skin thing and it's like what are you doing

She's a great character aside from the fact that I feel like a creep even looking at her character sprite
Well, she's a dragon, so I dunno, maybe dragons are lighthearted that way?

And no, it's not "problematic" - it's just that if it really had just been "AND HERE'S ALL THE SEXY GIRLS IN BIKINIS" DLC then it would have been 100% megastupid. As it stands it's still sort of stupid, but it's at least not completely pandering to only one audience.

Seems smart to me. Excises the cheesy fanservice from the main game, gives the pervy fans what they want, Nintendo makes bank money.

*buys DLC pack*

I, uh, just want the additional support convos.

Wow, the "censored" picture looks more suggestive to me. Tharja, being restrained, by someone standing behind her [wearing a cape].

Sure, it might just be my over-perverted imagination...but I cannot help what I see.

Nowi would be a lot less creepy if she didn't act like a child, but honestly I could do without totally-not-kids entirely in a game with a marriage mechanic.

She's like a shitty version of Morrigan (Dragon Age: Origins)

Except with a more pandering design.

I really fucking like the art in Fire Emblem and his work on NMH, but I'm not about to deny how over-sexed it is.
Wait, I don't get it. You...don't like Tharja? "Don't," as in, "do not?"

No I don't like characters that do awful things to her husband and daughter.
Oh c'mon, she's just curious!

Obligatory Nintendo merchandise of Tharja:

So my last Fire Emblem was the Gamecube and Game Boy Advance ones, so my first reaction to this is..... WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED. Still might pick it up sooner or later though.

Write a fan fiction now.

great, now the usa version makes it look like someone's about to bend her over and have his way.

edit: oh and strike another great nintendo series off my list of games to buy. thanks for ruining it with this fanservice anime crap.

With Morrigan it kinda worked better because of the approval system in place and how she would disapprove everything lawful you would do. Moreover, she had a secret motive as to why she would follow you around even though she really didn't want to.

And let's be honest. She had much more background and lines too to flesh out her character. Most of the characters in Awakening outside of a few key members barely have any background or relevance in the plot.

Okay, I actually really love how the DLC is in this game. It's all extra, FEELS extra, and and in no way seems like it'd be necessary for enjoyment. It's literally something to give the hardcore FE fans a huge nod, IMO.

Too much to ask for Kotaku to check in with Sony and ask why they wiped out all of the Arthurian references in Soul Sacrifice?

Dunno, the US version looks potentially rapey to me. Bad Nintendo of America! Bad!

In other news, lol at Kotaku's hypocrisy. Yeah, I realise multiple people work on the site, but you just had a big blowup about sexism on the site, try not to contradict that within the week.

If something like this comes up again, Nintendo should have two versions of the game or DLC. See which one sells better. I think I already know the answer. :)

Nintendo didn't have a problem showing off Daisy's ass in Mario Strikers....Xtreme Beach Volleyball: Mario Edition confirmed!!

It's DLC. Don't buy the DLC if this bugs you. It's still a great game.

A paid optional DLC ruins the game :lol

Gonna tell your straight, we me less is always more. Tease me and let me imagine what your hiding, rather than stripping nekkid and laying it all out like a happy meal.
