Tumblr's cool as long as you view everything in an instanced fashion and know what you're looking for. If you're just trying to "browse" and find stuff it'll give you some trouble, but if you just keep jumping from 15 minutes of fame to 15 minutes of fame it's pretty straightforward.
And as long as you're just using it for porn, gay slash fic and Homestuck / Attack on Titan stuff.

Not really sure. I used mine to store reaction GIFS and fanart, then decided one day "you know what? I should follow people that I know." That was probably a mistake because now I can't browse Tumblr in public. Don't follow people that you know on Tumblr.
