While this is probably true, the number of people who do take issue with it is enough to fill a 14-page thread; and it's enough that you felt the need to vent your frustration in this thread. And even in the case of someone who does own all or most of the games, the amiibo still might not offer a good value if they're only interested in the functionality for one or two of the games.

As for adaptations for black actors, it doesn't even have to be based on a true story. There's a shit ton of novels by black authors that would make great films. How has Octavia Butler never had a novel adapted into film?
