Book one was very trial and error till the backend of the season. Season 2 is the highlight of the series tbh.
This recent season of Korra was definitely up there, even if it was rough around the edges on villain "purpose". This season had the best fight/choreography of both series.

To be fair, after watching all the Ba Sing Se episodes in Book 2, it's kinda hard to believe some of the rougher content from earlier on is even part of the same show.
For anybody wanting to watch ATLA from the beginning, just remember to skip The Great Divide.
It was already better than the first Mass Effect.
It just had the misfortune of being released after the series had already started cleaning up its messy combat.

Finished Tomb Raider.
The first half or so is like the worst kind of hand holding through a Uncharted knock-off, the last third is so much better. Actually made me hopeful that the sequel will just be the last 3 hours or so stretched over an entire game cause honestly despite its flaws...dat bow.
edit: I started and never finished Alpha Protocol cause my save file fucked up.

Damn, maybe I should've stuck through it. I went extremely slow through the game, the beginning was boring as hell. By the time I got around half way done, GTA V came out and I needed money so I traded it in.
I got it again from ps plus though, but I don't wanna play it on my ps3 and would rather just wait and play it on my ps4 sometime later.

Rent it, it's literally the last few hours that feel like what the whole game should have been.
how come the dual pistol shit was literally introduced in the very last minute of the game? It was a cool homage to end on but it coulda been legit throughout the game. Hopefully in the sequel Croft comes out dual wielding right off the bat.
My ps4 doesn't come until september
and I'm broke as shit until then anyways
I'm getting bored of grinding for this damn khfm platinum. Might as well play one of my ps plus games on my ps3. I could just dl tomb raider, but I already have Dragons Dogma downloaded so I might as well try that out. What do you guys think about that game?

Looked at my steam purchase history and it says I got Alpha Protocol on Sept 2011 for $2.00
Edit: Dragon's Dogma was great, deserved more attention than it got, only downside was occasional framerate drops. Play Dragon's Dogma before Tomb Raider.

I had the opposite reaction to Tomb Raider, actually. I was more okay with the game in the beginning before I realized it wasn't really going anywhere.

Dragon's Dogma is piff. Don't travel at night. Don't take any fucking escort quests. If you've ever wondered - no, you're not that real. An ogre will fuck you up like John Cena.

Yea, the stealth and guns ablazing wasn't balanced very well. Snatching a headshot with the bow on the straggler then quickly picking off guards before they call for back up was the best for me, think there were only two areas like that in the whole game.
Still had fun with rooms full of enemies sections, intentionally avoided the barrels, they made some areas too easy.

AI in Alpha Protocol is straight busted.
You can never tell when someone will spot you or not. You can be in plain view and get way more than enough time to get a one hit kill and other times enemies somehow just know where you are.
With some polish AP coulda been special.

Alpha Protocol is one of the better games of last gen that suffered from game play and design issues. But that choice system and the amount of potential it has. So damn good.
I got tipsy for the first time since I left. Last night I needed a damn drink. Had a female over and fucking fell asleep in her lap. She just held ya boy. Felt good. Still decompressing since the trial and needed it. Before she slid through I went and drank with another female friend, who was going through a tragic event. Needless to say it's been a fool for the last day.

I hate my neighbors!
When I first moved into my apt building 8 years ago it was no pets. Apparently they started to allow cats 2 years ago no biggie. But last week I saw a stray cat hanging around our dumpster normally no big deal. Now multiple people have started feeding this cat by putting cat food outside their doors. This mother fucker now just sits outside meowing all day begging for food, fighting other cats and being overall just annoying as shit. Asshole tried to follow me into my door today. This would not have been an issue before, but now these cat people have fucked it up for everyone.
