Speaking of Sonic Boom, "Game Grumps" is doing a playthrough of it, and on this episode for the first 6 minutes, they spot a bunch of shitty cutscene tricks that were left in the retail copy. Things like teleporting characters, running on nothing, positions being rearranged between camera transitions, etc.
$60 game here, folks.
