After all the recent controversies, I wonder if Bill Cosby is still a member of the
Dark Crusaders?

But, I can't find a single game in which Kinect is functional that wasn't a dance game or used anything other than shouting in-game commands...
I will say this, Kinect can be randomly finicky for seemingly no reason at times, which is why one person can be perfectly fine with it, and someone else can have the worst experience ever. I remember with the first version, there was a specific pair of black jeans I had that the Kinect
hated. It would always think my legs were moving even when I was perfectly still, so in the game I was working on (which used leg motions for kicking, jumping, and dashing) it was pretty much unplayable.
But it was only that one pair of jeans that caused issues for me. I have no idea if it was the fabric, the laundry detergent I used, or whatever, but it was strange as hell. I also do remember motions that would work perfectly fine for me, but for someone else it would be completely unresponsive. So you have to either:
1) make a bunch of cumbersome calibration screens to work with different body types (not very user friendly)
2) try to auto-calibrate in some way to fit everyone's sensitivities (which inevitably still fails for some people regardless)
3) make the type of game with only grand sweeping gestures, and nothing super granular (which limits the types of games you can make)
So yeah.
