The Criterion Collection in 2012/13: Why haven't they released *insert title here*?

Wild Strawberries ! Finally.

Shoah and Harold Lloyd are also definitely on my buying list. I must admit I've never heard about the other two.

"Marketa Lazarová was voted the all-time best Czech movie in a prestigious 1998 poll of Czech film critics and publicists"

works for me.

I'm tempted to buy Shoah, even though I'll never get through it.

Safety Last, definitely. I love silent comedies but have never seen that one.

Cosmic Bus

I'd like to see the documentary on this release, but overall, I can't imagine someone spending nearly $30 on Criterion's disc over ~$60 for the New Line Lloyd box set from several years ago. One of the best purchases I ever made.

p.s. The Kid Brother is his best.

Yeah, the newsletter just shipped. I think the joke here is France says Ha.

Criterion might be releasing Frances Ha sometime soon. It's a good guess, I think. But it hasn't even run in the theaters yet, so they might be messing around.

Thanks for the heads up. Went ahead and placed an order on Amazon for the three I didn't have on blu (Army of Shadows, Le Cercle Rouge, and Leon Morin, Priest). I have Army and Cercle on dvd, but hadn't upgraded them yet. I already have Mafioso and Le Doulos, so I'm safe there too.
