Amazing stuff dude, really really looking forward to see the chimeran architecture is R2, I loved the achitecture in RFoM, really made the game for me, keep up the good work.

What? What's all this you speak of?!? Don't walk away when all you have given us is some vague... Damn. So stoked. Can't wait for tomorrow's conference. Loved how you guys blocked some new and interesting Chimera with the environment and transitions!!! :p The animations are excellent by the way. State of the art. :D

I actually wouldn't care as much that FFXIII go multiplatform if we have many other JRPGs to choose from. It's always on the back of my mind that FFXIII may become multiplatform like FFXI. But damn, the console needs some RPGs injection fast. If as fast as tomorrow is not possible then I'm hoping by TGS they get their act together.

Solved. Deciphers to "Blackout." Which first led to a photo (by using the following link: www.projectabraham.com/blackout), but now it has been updated with a letter. The main page also has a second video which you have probably discovered. Nothing new after that. Waiting for the next update. :D

Delivering content shows they care. They've been too content to sit back and act like they're not concerned.

I'd really like to see something come from a Japanese developer. Aside from Sega (Valkyria, Ryu ga Gotoku), Microsoft is doing a much better job getting games from across the Pacific.

you can move the picture and letter around. I wonder if that means anything?
 
i would love to see sony's impromptu response to the FF13 issue tomorrow.....interviews either from sony PR or that new SCEI guy who replaced Phil Harrison (cant remember his name). it would be an interesting spin to say the least and hopefully a wakeup call for sony to deal with third party exclusives

go back a few pages. we listed at least 5 jrpgs exclusive to the ps3.

More stuff will likely be added to the site, so it will become handy to flip through all the info. It's a preloaded function for when that time arrives. MyResistance has a lot of cool theories I recommend others to check out. Story related, of course. But, in case one of 'em is right, I guess they could contain SPOILERS! Or if you haven't played R:FOM... SPOILERS!

Shu Yoshida is not from SCEI, he's been the head of SCEA game development for a long time.

I don't think so.

Microsoft's conference was to a very large extent (even in it's message-board-crushing finale), an exercise in me-too-ism. A lot of it very retrospective too (i.e. looking back at PS2). Microsoft shouldn't be worried about catching up on Singstar, they should be worried about stuff like LittleBigPlanet.

Not that Sony isn't prone to that itself from time to time, but I saw more distinctive flavour in Sony's pre-show teases (e.g. flower, the last guy, pixeljunk eden etc.) than Microsoft's entire conference.

Again, I think if you're interested in message board politics, the sony conference might leave you with little material. But their lineup remains.

yes. when gt5p came out they said that gt5 was about a year off. so spring/summer 09 sounds about right.
EDIT: Gran Turismo 2 was the only game to come out in the second half of the year.

I wasn't speaking specifically about JRPGS, but 3rd party Japanese developer support in general. Most developers are content to continue churning out PS2 games.

White Knight Chronicles -- Very excited about it. Hopefully Sony talks about it tomorrow.

Dark Cloud 3 -- Would be great, but it's still just a rumor.

Versus 13 -- Also very excited about it, but it's even farther off than FFXIII.

Disgaea 3 -- Already preordered my copy. Can't wait.

Valkyria Chronicles -- Same as Disgaea, but it doesn't really fit the mold of what I'm wanting in a JRPG. It's more of a hybrid game.

Tears to Tiara -- Haha, a remake of an H-game that more than likely won't come here. It doesn't look bad, but it's sad that we're excited about this when things could be much better.

X Edge -- See above.

I'm a PS3-only owner. I'm saddened by the extreme lack of 3rd party Japanese support. I'd like to see Sony do something to make developers feel confident in making titles for the platform.

ah ok. I thought maybe they meant year from the Japan release, which came out around November '07, but I just saw something where Yamauchi said it might not make it before 2009.

well since you are obviously well informed, then i can only suggest you wait til the conference tomorrow to see if sony has switched focus to some japanese developed games.
