Finished reading Nausicaa. Miyazaki's masterwork, animated or otherwise.
And yet, the article that appears at the end of the second volume:I consider it his magnum opus. Just reread it over the last several days too, and it's only gotten better.
"But now I have to relearn - the hard way - why I concluded that I had no talent for comics and gave them up so long ago!"
If Nausicaa is the result of Miyazaki's lack of talent for comics, I wonder what he considers talent.
Got my collection in today. I definitely enjoy the quality so far over the paperbacks - which I think I will end up donating to my old high school.
That might be too much Nausicaa for one library.
Anyways, I wonder if I'll find Selm as annoying as I did last time.
