Sweet, found a good way to make GIFs using Sony Vegas to extract the frames and Animation Shop to put them together.

I actually am coming to like the idea of the show and movie being separate despite how much I love Grant Gustin as the role. It gives them more than plenty of time to take criticism from the TV show and implement it into the movie. As the show goes on the script would only be able to improve.

the best part about them being separate is they can move forward with the plot.

AoS is still going on with this Hydra stuff because they gotta be tied in with the movieverse. Makes the show boring to watch, they could be doing way more.

I would like to see a Tom Welling cameo, but as I understand it he doesn't want to reprise the role and he's super rich now, content with producing and small roles - if anything.

I haven't enjoyed a superhero show nearly this much since Smallville - and I watched that through college and the first several years of my career. I hope this works out and has a long life.

Really good episode and really well done special effects until like the very last second when he's running down the street, looked unfinished or something. Also liked how they handled the villain this week. Was expecting something cheesy, but they pulled it off perfectly.

Two episodes in, I'm really impressed and with some of the news of future villains, things can only get better. It's serving as a nice compliment to Arrow, which is feeling a lot looser and less focused this season.

Yeah Arrow hasn't hit its stride just yet. I think once the big bad is introduced it'll give everything a lot more drive and keep the plot focused.

Erm, couldn't Flash have just ran downstairs and stopped the guy dropping to his death?

I don't think he's that fast, not yet anyway and it propably took a bit before he would even think about it, shaving precious second of the time he had

Sure, assuming he thought of it in the moment. His brain power and reactions seem pretty inconsistent due to presumably inexperience.

I assume he thinks and moves with regular human speed most of the time, only speeding up when necessary. Otherwise he would quickly go insane and wouldn't be able to function properly

How is this show? Starting in the Uk on sky one of the 28th. I've only watched half of the first season of arrow in case they are tied together in an important way?

Gotham just started here too but I'm not sure I like it, so this might be a good alternative

Betting it's going to be Zoom with a whole type of storyline about "I'm nothing without you, and in the future you vanish, leaving me with nothing blabla (joker/batman type of scenario)." So he wants to go back in time and create the perfect nemesis, aka the perfect hero, and prevent The Flash from vanishing/dying/whatever in the future and so helps Barry in his own bizarre way. Betting he killed Barry's mom. Dude is just too creepy/evil yet altruistic at the same time and I think that hints towards his noble goal not truly having noble intentions.

Anyhow, that's just my speculation.

I'm fully expecting that to be the case.

It's more fun/entertaining than Gotham.

It's Flashtastic

So I know Wally West is Iris' nephew, but she doesn't seem to have any siblings on the show. So like a son of a cousin or something?

Or will they talk about like Iris' mother and stuff (they haven't mentioned what happened to her yet)

This show is going to become even better once the Rouges are established. I can't wait until Nick E. Tarabay as
Captain Boomerang
shows up.

She probably has a brother or two but they conveniently haven't showed up in the flashbacks.

If Wally gets brought into the show, he's probably gonna be Iris's cousin or something instead of nephew. Otherwise he'd be like 5 or younger and they'd have to bring some awful child actor onto the show.

But I kinda doubt they'll even bring Wally into the equation.

I'm sure they will. He's been reintroduced to the comics in such a way that would fit with how this show works.

Also..since so many characters seems to be set up to move from Arrow to Flash I sure do hope so that some of the rogues will land in Suicide Squad on Arrow :)

Why aren't they using the end credits theme from the pre-air version? :-(

Anyway, it's great that the writers have learned from not repeating the first half lull of Arrow Season 1 and are going all out right from the get go for The Flash. But these flashbacks have got to go...

The Flash was a Sequel to Prison Break all along.
I was blown away. What could I say? It all seemed to make sense.

yeah it's making arrow look like a bit of a drag in comparison right now. hopefully this week's episode is exciting though.

I never cared much for arrow. In all the media i've seen the green arrow in he has been funny and serious while arrow is way too serious for my tastes.
