I went to Spa one of the only times in recent years when it didn't rain :(

I'm Jealous though, even if i am going to Catalunya, Spa is amazing.

Unrelated, but i finally got activated after 8 months xD

Welcome aboard, it's good to have another Tifoso on F1 GAF.

On that note, this wave of juniors has been pretty lacking in F1 and motorsport fans so far, so if there are any juniors who are reluctant to join in; don't be shy. We don't bite. :)

Usually means that is suspended, should he get into serious trouble again, he could end up serving this sentence
Yes, he'd serve the jail time if convicted of another offence punishable with imprisonment or if he was in breech of any conditions set by the judge for the period of suspension. It wouldn't be automatic though, it would be up to the judge's discretion.

From a lawyer's perspective, the case is quite interesting because of the grainy footage used as evidence and the lack of eyewitnesses coming forward in Sutil's favour, including Lewis. I'd love to see the case report, but German case reports aren't available via the conventional means (Halsbury's, Westlaw, LexisNexis etc) in this country.

ScarbsF1 and I will be examining the new McLaren MP4-27 in tomorrow's #theflyinglap. 7:00pm GMT, 2:00pm ET
Windsor's stock may have fallen since the USF1 debacle, but he's worth listening to. Scarbs needs no introduction, the guy is an F1 guru.

"Lewis is a coward, I do not want to be friends with someone like that. He is for me no man, even his father sent me a text message written and wished me luck for the process. Lewis came from nothing. He has changed his phone number. I could not reach him anymore. "

Ahh ok then, I sat on the Webber stand last year, next to Prost and it's not bad but Waite is the best stand at the track for sure.

Not sure where I want to sit yet.. Depends what's left really..
Very good spot, but it's too far away from the circus and given it's my first time, I certainly didn't want to miss that. I think Prost is best for me, you sit near the pit entrance, drivers plant the foot as they enter the straight and it's at a corner where drivers have to slow down (relatively) a fair bit, meaning you get that awesome blowoff sound as well as a good look at the cars. I stressed so much about where to go before buying, but happy with the spot my brother and I ended up with.

I'm so hyped for the new car launches! Being in NY, one of my favorite memories of seasons past is waking up with all the new media being released and poring over all the tech details and high resolution shots.

Can't wait to see the new Ferrari. Excited to see what Mclaren's controversial design is.

Ahh so you're a virgin hey ;)

You'll love it no matter where you sit. I've been to every Aussie GP since I was 5 (including the last Adelaide one in '95) so I sort of have the luxury of not caring so much where I sit.

Prost, You'll see the DRS, You'll see them do their burnouts at the start od the race, you'll see how much speed they pull our of a corner. The main reason I like the Waite stand is the sheer speed they take through the corners and when they have speed comparisons between a road car, V8 supercar and F1, you can really see the difference.

The sound is incredible no matter where you sit but you're correct that the pit entrance has the best of the blowoff sound.

I remember everyone going mad last year over the octopus exhaust - I'm hoping McLaren will bring something just as exciting this year, much like Webber's chin he graces us with.

Nope, I have no idea why I typed that.

I have no idea, either.

Nothing is like how Webber graces us with his chin. NOTHING.

You idiot.

Press have been in to see the car launch already.
Photos and reports on it are embargoed until 11.15 GMT.

Their 2011 nose was very nearly 2012 compliant already.

I forgot where I read it (probably here) but there were suggestions that the 2011 nose was so close to the new regulations that McLaren would probably be the only team without the stepped nose in 2012.
