I'm surprised that the nose looks like last year's. Could that be it?

Maybe, although apparently last years car was not far off being legal so only small changes would be required.

Might be something like flexi-wings which won't be visible until it is running.

There's no concrete evidence to suggest that the Ferrari has a step nose, just speculation and misinterpretation of Luca's words.

They were all just trolling Caterham.

Caterham: Hey guys. Our car looks stupid & really ugly. Our nose looks like a duck, is this ok?
Other F1 teams: Yeah ours looks like that aswell, they all will!
Caterham: Cool, we will launch ours first!
Other F1 teams: LOL!

I wouldn't put too much stock into these shots, the car will be drastically different once Melbourne comes around, especially the wings.

They will be last years wings anyway.

Looks pretty nice.

It annoys me how Button and Hamilton have to be head to toe in Mclaren gear. Like a fucking walking billboard. The sponsorship stuff in F1 really annoys me. A t-shirt isn't enough?

Black wheels look good, they seem to be less "spokey" and drilled, might just be the colour though.

I wonder what the reason for raising mirrors is too. They seem too small to be funneling airflow but I'm not an aerodynamicist unfortunately.

So Hamilton can see who he has just rammed off the track.

He should have given the design a score. If it's a 5/10, we'd know that it got the Caterham nose.

Marussia will basically be making their guys jog around the track wearing a sandwich board.

Just by those side by side shots of this years vs last years McLaren you can see a whole lot of work has gone into the underside airflow. You can almost see how the aero will channel under the front wing, around the higher side pods and through the much tidier back-end.

Very nice work there. It has "mechanical grip" written alll over it.

It'll be interesting to see what approach Red Bull went with for the nose.
Red Bull started the whole 'extreme gradient' nose trend with the RB5, so they may take it to another level with the RB8 or take the McLaren route. I'm really looking forward to Newey's creation.

the car looks fairly conservative when you consider all the 'superinnovation' buzz before.
really neatly packed
