Might be one of Tilke's better efforts.Ark said:I don't think India looks that bad, but I guess we'll see.

Physically, I am still a bit weak but my general condition is quite good. My weight has now returned to its normal level and for a few weeks Ive been able to walk without help.
That's the same way I feel about mclaren, I would rather see vettel win every race then a mclaren driver winmclaren777 said:I want Ferrari to go winless for the next 10 seasons. I actually want them to fail more than I want any other team to win.
Initial test ? Such a camera has been used many times before, as early as I think 2002 at Hockenheim.Ark said:Well it was an initial test at Silverstone, so I think we can expect to see it at other tracks this year![]()
Yeah, I could have sworn Germany had one or something similar.Goldrusher said:Initial test ? Such a camera has been used many times before, as early as I think 2002 at Hockenheim.

Very good to hear and I can't wait to see him back on the grid.
Nolan. said:I dunno, I'll believe it when I see it but I don't expect to see him on the grid come 2012 if he is I doubt he'll be back to the standards he was before the accident but we'll see.

I wonder why Massa didn't want to drive the car?navanman said:Before the Silverstone race, Alonso drove Bernie's 1951 Ferrari around the track.

I'm all for canopy F1 cars, sure it sort of stops becoming open-wheel racing, but it's one step closer the to X2010 in GT5![]()

They should implement this in the lower formulas as well, I'm surprised they didn't take a closer look at this after Henry Surtees's death a couple years back.

Surtee's death was devastating, and so, so unlucky. It's still an incredible miracle that Massa survived his accident in 2009.

I'm all for it, if it means we get faster cars.RomanticHeroX said:I wouldn't be surprised to see it going this way, but to me I think F1 would lose a bit of its identity if it stops being open cockpit.
RomanticHeroX said:We'd also have faster cars with shrouded wheels. I'm all for pushing the limits of the cars but there are a few things I see as integral to the identity of an F1 car, and unshrouded wheels and cockpit are part of that.
RomanticHeroX said:... but F1 is about creating the absolute fastest cars within the bounds of a set of regulations
Foliorum Viridum said:I kinda agree, the design of the F1 car as we know it is very defined and part of what makes the sport so excited. It doesn't feel as... I don't, safe I suppose as other car designs?
I'm all for safety, of course, but I wouldn't like the look of F1 cars to change too much.
brotkasten said:I just had an awesome idea!
How about we change those regulations in the middle of the season, to make things a bit more exciting!
I dunno, the designs have changed in various ways over the years, but when you show me cars from 50 years ago they still look pretty similar and just as unique as the cars we have today.Ark said:The design of the F1 car is very defined because the regulations don't allow even the smallest of bodywork changes. The cars have only looked the same since 2009, to me each generation of F1 cars look completely different.
