for this weekend only though and it seems that Trulli will be retained for 2012 also.
He is an old driver on a downward slope and motivation level.
They should bring in a better talent.

Good to see, wish it was for next season as well though.

15,000 RPM limit, raised from initial 12,000 proposed ceiling

Driver startable cars, rather than using external machine via starter hole in gearbox.

Cars must run under electric (KERS) power when in the pits like the hybrid LeMans cars this year.

whhyyyy?
it makes no sense to me, except that it is expensive and a miserable way to drop out of a race in case of a kers fail

I figure this may be the right place to ask. Could someone PM a link or two a website that streams "Motors TV" and "Eurosport"? I have my F1 fix. But everything else I am amiss on. Mostly I am just looking for a place to watch WRC, and FIA GT2.

Look up the Le Mans thread, I posted a link that streams Eurosport in the OP. Can‘t link it from my phone right now. Sorry.

More excite! Red Bull am cry. :lol

Nah they should have their Kers issues sorted by then, but yeah it would be a sucky way to bow out especially with RB's current fluctuating available Kers reserve.

Yeah, i wondered this aswell. But it could mean cars will stay out for about 50 laps on old tyres because they are unable to pit! :D

But im guessing by that time Kers will be much more stable that it is now.

Also, energy recovery from exhaust heat. Pretty interesting.

There's no FIA GT2 championship except in the ILMC series where they've been renamed GTE. There is a GT1 World Championship and a GT3 European Championship, both of which are pretty great. You can follow both live on GT1 TV, where you can also watch replays of prior GT1 races.

Massive controversy in Germany. 10 teams in contravention of FIA regulations. So far only Lotus and HRT are legal (I think). No joke.

apparently Petrov is too heavy for the new RBR style exhaust for the Renault. Only Heidfeld will run it on the Nürburgring

Wow. I always knew that Heidfeld was one of the smaller drivers, but 15 kg (33 lbs) difference between both drivers is huge, isn't it? I also think it's sad that Renault goes back to a more conventional exhaust. I always liked the front exhaust, because it was different.

Wonder what's going on there then, given that the regulations have reverted back to pre-Silverstone spec.

The issue, incredibly, is driver overalls. FIA compliance must be stitched to collars. Screen prints are thus illegal.
