Does anyone here care for F1 2011 (the game)? After the buggy (and woefully performing, at least on my rig) 2010 I've gotta say I'll be waiting for a sale before getting it. No demo, either.

There's a big F1 2011 hype thread over on the gaming side. And most of us who played it on PC loved 2010 :p

And yeah, if it opens in a cinema near you, go see it there. Nothing quite like it.

Crossfire support was a bitch, hence why I hate it. I'm probably going to still buy it day one as even when Codies do a terrible driving game, it's usually still pretty good. Bastards.

I've only seen the extended version of Senna. Even at 2.5 hours it still feels like every shot has a place and fits perfectly. I could probably watch a 4 or 5 hour cut, honestly. It's premiering officially later this month in a city a couple hours away, but sadly I have orientation that day. I'm sure it looks brilliant on a theatrical screen.

On that note, are there any other good F1 documentaries?

You should get great performance out of one if you want to give it another go, though. I got 45-50fps with everything on ultra with my 5850, and now I'm over 60fps with my 6950. Give it a go!

How is that even possible? The BBC were in the Brawn garage straight after the race in 2009 when Button won the WDC, and exactly the same things at Brazil & Abu Dhabi last year with RBR.

If you watch the Button garage video back there's a Sky Sports mic being thrust over EJ/DCs shoulder. Sums it up pretty well.

It's been asked here several times but this time I'm actually interested in the answer... what are some other good documentaries on either motor racing or their personalities? I should've paid more attention when people were talking about them earlier in the thread, but, you know... I'm a bit shit.

I'd even be happy for a rally doco... I seem to recall there was a good one on the history of Group B, but can't recall the name.

I hope you don't mind, but since we are in the summer break and this is (sort of) F1 related, I thought you might like this youtube video I have recently uploaded, I was lucky enough to spend the weekend at the Nurburgring, I drove my Clio 200 on the Nurburgring GP track and Nordschleife joined together. We managed 12 laps over 2 and a bit days, it was absolutely epic.

The video below was me with 4 in the Clio with 200bhp, chasing my friend in a Focus RS 1 passenger and 280bhp. I could have got past, but it was more fun pushing him to go faster and faster.

Driving down the pit straight on the Nurburgring F1 track 1 week after the F1 Race in my own car was an incredible experience, made even more interesting by knowing what the braking points are for an F1 car, but having no idea what they are for a road car :)
